It looks like it might be a nice day here today. I am going to the Chester-le-park with the DD1, SIL and GK's later.

Indie - good luck with the housework/washing.

Sheils - there are some grumpy bus drivers on sometimes but on the whole ours are really nice.

Walwin - that mus be lovely to be able to watch the lambs from your window.

Hamsterfan - I don't think you ever stop worrying about your kids whatever age they are. Hope you have a good time at the stage show.

Wingo - its nice to sit up an watch a film sometimes, glad you enjoyed it.

Hello everyone. Took me hours but I finally caught up on the comps yesterday

Today I'm catching up on Masterchef and lazing around before a mate's 30th party tonight.

Hamster, I can understand how worried you are but maybe it won't be too long before they move out again. I can also understand their frustration of wanting to be in their own place too after living with my MIL after we were married! we hadn't argued until we moved into my MIL's while our house was getting done, she used to do whatever to rile me! I would make the bed everyday neatly and she would go back in afterwards and remake the bed! I was things like that started arguments off and at the time I would have moved into a cardboard box to be away from them! hope all goes well xx

Sheils, hope your DD gets into work ok today. What an awkward bus driver! A lot of the bus drivers here have a habit of seeing people running for the bus and driving away before they reach it!

My DD went to let Jasper in garden and turned key too hard and it's snapped! managed to prize the patio doors opened which don't normally open for me (another job DH hasn't fixed!)
I better start entering the Times comps, not done any yet!

Wingo - its a park but a big one with a lake and a great play area and lots of grass for picnics etc. Peeps often take their pop up tents and stay for the day with their LO's. Is opposite the Riverside cricket ground where all the big matches are played. Only thing is because of that you have to pay for parking. Sun is shining here too so should be OK even if its a bit cold.

Postie brought me a birthday card for Monday from my DD2, with the promise of £30 when she gets paid on Tuesday. Also a card from Matalon with a voucher for £5 off £30 which will come in handy. Wouldn't mind but went yesterday and spent £20 on undies for DH.

Must get on as they will be picking me up soon.

Afternoon all, had a lazy start to the day here, as didn't get home from pal's house till 3.00am :eek: Really not used to such late nights but we were having such a laugh and thankfully I only had a few beers and lots of nibbles so head is OK

See you had a book win FF, well done.

I got another nice wee win from the mag dailies in the post. Have had 5 wins this month and 4 are from the mag dailies so will persevere although am not doing as many and only doing a couple of the ones that are spread over several mags.
