Mine cost £117 over a couple of years ago. The Philips ones were fairly new AND £200 I think then.

Mrs T - good luck with the comping. Good news about your Dad's scan and wish him a speedy recovery.

Well done everyone on your wins.

Thanks, and thanks earlier for your help, everyone is so friendly on here. I love MSE I am so glad I found it all these years ago as it really helped me massively when me and my hubby where in a hard place financially when I was preggers.

So many lovely ppl willing to take the time to help others. A wonderful place to spend your spare time

Thanks lovelies, very kind of you all. :) Mrs T - Job hunting is hard work, and somewhat depressing at times (the last time I was job hunting it was a different time and experience), comping is a very welcome change from that. Not winning comps is considerably less damaging to the self esteem than job rejection letters/emails/phone calls. Good luck with your job hunt too. Keep at it, that's all we can do in the end.

We had/have (it's on it's last legs) an acti fry. Bought in NL when it was on a 50 euro off offer. :) It's served us well for almost 4 years.

Happy to help with computer stuff. OH is the real expert (built his own PC!!), but I've managed to pick up some stuff from him :) Mostly I smile and nod when he's explaining, but some of it sticks! lol
