Just back from a nice walk in the country - the sun came out!
We drove DD out to her work and the place looked fairly quiet so she thought she might not be needed. We went off for an hours walk, came back and the place is packed.
Are you going to get fish and chips in Hartlepool as a birthday treat Sylvia?

hope all is well,just been to Asda for the party food with a nurse and had a nice time getting it having it after supper this evening sometime.

Bishopsgirl no idea at the moment how I am getting back to my parents but possibly a taxi or hospital car,I cant get a train by myself,I will know more tomorrow morning what time the transport has been arranged and 4 hours later will be back in Devon.I so cant wait

It will be nice to get back to normality,see friends etc.

Just watched BGT again whilst comping. Clever how the Pastor had the surprise choir up in the Royal boxes before coming down!

Are PMU / CHAT quite quick at fixing their security certificates?(am not risking over-riding the warnings)

He Sheils - glad you managed a nice walk and that DD was able to work today. Yes we are going to a nice restaurant a bit further along but still on the sea front. Will only go if the weather is OK to walk the dogs though as they don't like the rain lol. Sorry its not Hartlepool its Seatoncarew.

Afternoon all.

What a wonderful sunny day it has been so far! I did go to the party last night, only had two small drinks but I was pretty wasted. Very strange. I hadn't eaten much in the day but even so....

bit of a sore head this morning but have blown out the cobwebs with a walk.

I watched BGT on itv player. It is terrible nonsense really but I will say the early audition rounds are the most interesting. I loved Alice the jazz singer. What a voice. Also will always have a soft spot for Ant and Dec as I grew up watching them on SMTV live

That's horrible about the Zoo. A Pets at Home went on fire near here a while ago but the staff managed to rescue all the animals.

Wondered if you meant Seaton Carew Sylvia. Will have to check which restaurant you go to before we go back. We would be sure to pick the worst one.

Glad you got your gardening done before the rain FF. Still quite nice here and have all the washing out.
