iluvcats - they always make friends in the end.
Sheils - wish it was another win but we are not grumbling this month, £200 + soup maker + GHD styling tongues.
Starting the regular exercise tomorrow without fail also low fat eating regime. Aiming at a stone to begin with.
SYLBIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Sorry Sylvia, it was Redcar where the pier was at
It is starting to look decent on the front now Sheils although they are still building stuff. There are shops inside the pier too and a cafe as you go up. You can go in the lift or walk up steps. It's where Atonement film was filmed.
Hope you get your hotmail sorted Sylvia.
Forgot to say, I got a mini torch in post today.I need to find where it come from!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Glad Redcar is looking better wingo. Knew Attonement was filmed there as there were big posters last time we were there.
The Premier Inn at Middlesbrough seems to be offering bargains again so hopefully get there again this year.

My son and youngest both have SATS soon too. The youngest is only in yr 2 so it won't be as bad but son goes up to senior school soon and he's getting agitated already! Luckily the secondary school are doing summer school for 2 weeks and they get to go to Beamish museum and flamingoland so he's looking forward to it.
good luck to your DD with her exams.

Wingo - did you walk up or take the lift? Not been to Redcar myself but Fred used to take his kids there most years when they were young.
Sheils - I expect your DD will be glad when her exams are over. Has she got any work at the choc factory this weekend?
Off to bed now.

Thanks wingo - she is sitting her Int 2 Maths 2 years before they used to so that is a worry but she has been working really hard.
Int 1 would have been enough. She struggles with Chemistry too but is sitting the Credit Exam and the General so hopefully get one of them.
We don't have SATS in Scotland so these are the first big exams.
Love Flamingoland and Beamish!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
