minor thing , your insurance is invalidated as not legally on the road.
My Mot ran out due to waiting to get it into garage for repairs to pass - meant could not drive it for 3 days as no mot so same thing my insurance would be classed as void so was not worth the risk imho,I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0 -

You were correct not to drive it without a mot but you still had insurance.0 -

there are way too many silly rules that invlidate insurance, there was a guy who was involved in an accident and had a tinted rear window and the insurance invalidated. The third party had 3 wiplash claims and the insurance company paid out and then took the driver to court and sued for the claim.
It's a nightemare. Thankfully lack of MOT/road taxc is not grounds to invalidate insurance but imagine if it did.0 -
