I'm back caught up with the good reading.
mcculloch I am shocked at the price hikes at Tesco recently. I had been buying the baby shampoo/bubble bath for decanting into hand wahs - it was about 8p for 500ml, now its 56p :eek: How can they jsutify that sort of price hike?? It's been that price for a couple of months, I've been watching it to see if it goes down and Tesco proclaim that they've slashed prices  Quite a few things I use regularly have more than doubled in price.:(
Interesting re the SPF, I always use moisturiser with a SPF in it all year round. I try annd use handcream also with SPF as I've noticed when driving my right hand/arm is darker than my left! But having read the article will add a SPF sun cream and reapply it.
I have a couple of INS all free to test - SPF suncream although only factor 10 which slightly puts me off as I generally use SPF15. Think I will keep suncream in my car for when I am driving
Another IN was a hand cream from Boots, have a reasonable idea of it's make given its tube is quite distinct!
Off topic, I know - I have a flat which I rent out. The tenant has moved out and has left the property in a disgusting state  I don't know why people think they can leave the property in that sort of condition, with deliberate damage, iron burns on every carpet throughout the house  and all their broken rubbish abandoned throughout.
I was very sympathetic to them when they lost their job and couldn't pay the rent and actually didn't receive rent for a couple of months, before they got dss help but it makes me so wary of renting to another dss tenant, who does not take care of the property and will only be in it for a couple of months before doing a bunk and leaving it wrecked. I am going to have to start from scratch and put down new carpets throughout.
Sorry, it just annoys me that people can be so horrible.Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.

Hi everyone,
No UUs or Ins to report today, just wanted to ask if anyone on here has bought a Z Palette to store their depotted eyeshadows in? I'm really tempted to buy one and declutter my single eyeshadows, which will then make room for my lipsticks to fit in my make up draw rather than them sitting on the dressing table.
I think I'd go for the large Z Palette which is about £20. Does anyone have one? If so what do you think about it? Worth the money?
Thank youSeptember Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -
I have quite a few UU this month, although I have to admit that I live with my sister, so she helps me out with all the products we have stashed around the house:
21 sample sachets - WNB the full sizes
S&G Calm One Calm All Bubble bath - ok product, but so very bored with S&G now
Victoria's Secret Amber Romance Fragrance Mist - WBA - I love this body spray, it smells lovely. I'm looking forward to some VS stores opening in Leeds & Sheffield in autumn so I can stock up
Dove Colour Radiance Leave-in conditioning & care spray - WNBA as did not make any noticable difference to my hair
E45 Emollient Bath Oil - WBA as it sooths my eczema
Nip+Fab Tummy Fix - WNBA as did not make any difference to my tum. Glad I only paid £10 for a box of 3 Nip+Fab products in TKmaxx
Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel - WBA - love the smell
Batiste dry shampoo - WNBA
Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter - WNBA
Yes Nurse hand cream (from a beauty box) - WNBA
Eve Lom Rescue mask - WNBA
Balance me citrus & spice hand wash - WNBA
Clinique eye make up remover - WNBA
Lancome Bi-facial cleanser - WMBA
Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat - WBA as HG product
OPI Nail Envy - WNBA as didn't do anything for my nails
Orly Nail Lacquer in bronze ash - WNBA
Benefit That Gal Brightening Face Primer - WMBA but have loads of mini sizes from Glamour magazine still in stash
Trilogy Rosehip Oil - probably WNBA as its quite expensive, but will look out for Rosehip oil in healthfood store as it helped with my eczema
Lavera All-round cream - WBA as it smells and feels lovely
Clinique Moisture Surge - WBA as really helps my dry skin
Lavera Hand Cream - WNBA
2x salcura Derma Sprays -WMBA as they help my eczema
2x Olay Regenerist renewal elixir - WNBA
Facial Serum from B*ots to trial - WNBA
Body scrub from B*oots to trial - WNBA
Mini size of the Lancome perfume that Julia Roberts advertises. I cant remember the name - WNBA
Thats 49 in total, although I have to admit that alot of the above were travel sizes. I have quite a few splutters to use up this weekend as well. Im not counting ebay sales in my total, but I am managing to sell quite a bit of my high end make up and toiletry items and getting really good prices for them.
I really want to concentrate on using up my very extensive nail polish collection and also the box full of cleansers that I have accumulatedPlans for 2017:Use up 150 make up and toiletries products 0/150)Lose weight - target 28lbs :eek:Competition wins 2017 - Dermo28 Youthmas Skincare Set :j0 -
asset2004 how terrible! Did they put down a deposit at least? I can sort of understand why so many landlords say no dss. A couple of flats I've moved onto have been left in an awful state by the previous tenant, and the landlords don't bother to clean them or replace things, so at least you're a good landlord! But it's very frustrating...
A fair few INS today
Naturals eye make-up remover (current bottle has 1 week left)
St Moriz fake tan - I think this is very good for a cheap fake tan
Face wipes
Emolient cream
Maybelline volumising mascara
BTW since when did we get so many mascara products? I was there for half an hour before I just grabbed the one I was closest to and dashed to the tills! However, I got a £2 off voucher, and it turned out the mascara already was on offer for £2 off, so it only cost me £2.20, which I won't shake a stick at!0 -
asset - how infuriating. I know a couple of people with houses they rent out and they encouter this type of thing regularly, dss or not.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Thanks dolly and minicooper
sadly no deposit as again I was being nice, the lady left her abusive husband and had no savings.
Guess what I'm doing tomorrow and the next day, scrubbing and painting the house, and buying new carpets
Sorry to go off track, Back on track, used up the dregs of a handwash just there, so that's a UULife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.

Hi Ladies, hope everyone is doing well. I am jumping in (yet again) with a few UU's.
Batiste Dry Shampoo - WBA love this.
Sure deo - WBA as it done the trick.
Jason Hand and Body Lotion - Really loved this. Moisturising, nice smell and great on my hands too. Also got this for free as part of a Whole Foods product swap
Asset - That is horrible. I can't comprehend how clatty some people are but I have heard this quite a bit from friends. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -

Please don`t think every dss tenant will be like that, some actually take care of places0 -

I agree, not every DSS tenant is like that! I rented a 'no DSS' flat once, and later wound up as DSS, and we took really good care of the place. But I suppose a lot of landlords have been stung!0
