Yes, the free Virgin to Virgin calls bit was the giveaway - these aren't available to non existing Virgin Media phone/BB/TV etc customers.

PS You need to do the same thing with the other 30 day SIM - ring and say you wish to cancel and you will also get a very good deal on this!

"Just to say, spoke with Virgin today have adv that I can tether my Iphone to Mini Ipad(talked me through how to do this after I said I would consider leaving if I had to purchase data elsewhere) but you can only do this on an unlimited plan, adv that if I go above 3.5gb a month(no chance of this as don't use 1gb at moment) speed may be reduced. Have been put on a new 30 day rolling contract 1200 mins, unlimited data and texts and free Virgin to Virgin calls £8 per month. Wifi Ipad ordered for collection tomorrow. Thanks for help re this."

This is the deal me and my wife are on but we dont live in an area with virgin tv/broadband ect. We got a cold call about 5 months ago looking for somebody else but the overseas call center sold it to us anyway must have needed the custom lol We get the unlimited data 1200 minutes free virgin to virgin calls ect lndline or mobile and i have just phoned them and they say yes we can still connect our laptop ect and use the internet unlimited from it. We haven't recieved any letters telling us their stopping it ect ? I hope not as we use it quite a lot as the speeds are faster that the crappy bt speeds here (live in the middle of nowhere)
