  • 110 is a legal site requirement for good reason, it's safer under extreme conditions, those guys have to work through wet weather, you don't, so save.

9" is the requirement for pavers/2" concrete.

DeWalt are great, recond grinders are good value on ebay, choose the supplier carefully though.;);)

What you recommending black and Decker for?

You really are a strange person, cut it out and you'd seem quite sensible.

We all know De Walt are the better half of Black and Decker, by far the better.

You didn't surprise me, only by your obtrusiveness.

I have dropped DeWalt kit from 30 foot up a tower under industrial conditions, snapped the stuff back together and continued to use them, that's why I recommending "black and decker"

(Where's the shakes his head in disbelief emoticon gone?)

Not trolling me again are you by any chance?
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Arte you actually trying to help the OP or just looking for an argument?

I purchased a cheap 9" grinder from argos a few years ago & its been fine.
I`ve cut brick walls & loads of slabs & never had any trouble.

Oh do behave. The Black and Decker Corporation own DeWalt and have done for over 40 years. In the same way they own the manufacturing company that makes B&D Power Tools. The two manufacturing companies are separate and autonomous although they come under the same corporate umbrella.

DeWalt bought Elu not the other way round.

    Cheers

    So back on topic.:D

OP you need a 9 inch grinder for slabs. The small one won't cut it (pun intended) either in size of disc or in motor power. The latter is probably more important in fact.

    Cheers

Hmmm. Bought the 4" earlier today. The edges won't be visible. I think if I cut down as far as I can with the blade then hit with rubber mallet it will break fine. I'm sure it won't be as quick as with a 9" but maybe it'll do. Got a diamond blade too.
