39p Energy Saving Lightbulbs in Morrisons - but you've got to be quick!

Very Strange..........How can they not be suitable for wall lights?....maybe they wont fit yours.............dimmer,led or halogen..well ok....but all wall lights!!!..............
The problem I've seen most commonly with wall lights is where the lampshade is designed to clip onto the bulb. The normal style of energy saving bulb is basically the wrong shape and the lampshade does not clip on securely. This leads to a lopsided lampshade - not pretty. (there are bulb-shaped energy saving bulbs - but not at this price)
The other problem I've had is with lamps which take candle bulbs. The energy saving candle bulbs can't match the incandescent bulbs for size. We have 2 lamps like this where I can only fit a bulb by completely disassembling the head of the lamp - which is a pain.
I now only have 2 incandescents remaining in the house - my son's room (on a dimmer switch) and a picture highlighter which requires a small bayonet fitting.0 -
The cheapest ones available are 8000hours at around £6, but the Megaman version is better quality and rated at 15,000hours, anywhere near £10 is a good price for these.Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j
Mortgages make money. Definitely don't wanabee mortgage free!0 -

they are still in my local morrisons, the display seems to run low from time to time, but they keep restocking it. It might be worth just asking next time you are in, I would have thought all morrisons would carry them. (i have seen them in every store I have been to so far). I bought a load of 100w equivalent ones last week. The offer should run until 2nd September according to OP, so stock up quickly!!0
