Pretty much anything by Wes Anderson. Mitchell & Webb / Peep show etc. Favourite tragicomedy film would have to be Withnail & I."There may be a legal obligation to obey, but there will be no moral obligation to obey. When it comes to history, it will be the people who broke the law for freedom that will be remembered and honoured." --Rt. Hon. Tony Benn0

We have started watching League of Their Own and find James Corden really funny, me and my hubby are in kinks watching it. Its not that focused on sport.
We like in-betweeners, old Only Fools & Horses, Royle Family, Gavin & Stacy, Hangover films (more for my hubby). Bridesmaids is a funny film. Michael McIntyre, John Bishop, Micky Flanagan, Peter Kay, Sarah Milican (she went to my school :-) ).0 -

And laurel and hardy always makes me laugh too.0 -
Pigpen - the making up new words reminds me of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue! (Diverging - an unsuccessful Welshman) (Radio 4 or loads of bits on Youtube).
Also on Radio 4 I love Just a Minute (Monday 6.30) and the Now Show (Friday 6.30). Occasionally they have re-runs of the Secret World which I adore.
Sorry, I know it isn't TV but I was without one for so many years I never caught up!
ETA - Peep Show!0 -
If I need to be cheered up then DEBS works well for that.
A darn good chuckle (an actual ROFL) is Dirty Sancez. (If thats your humour).
I like to watch the same films when I need to cheer up. Usually the Holiday, Iron Man.
TV shows The Big Bang Theory.[STRIKE]£2200[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£1950[/STRIKE][STRIKE]£1850[/STRIKE] £1600 on my credit card

Pheonix Nights is HILARIOUS imo, as is Planes, Trains and Automobiles!
"That Peter Kay Thing" is also quite funny.
I also love Monty Python's The Holy Grail - but I think you need to have a particular sense of humour to appreciate it!
I'm a big fan of "The League of Gentlemen" (BBC 2 comedy) but again, you need to have a particular sense of humour to enjoy it.
I like Monty Pythons Life of Brian - just didn't 'get' MP before but am now enjoying it.LOG, l never got into but l'm sure if l'd persevered l'd have 'got' it.

Going to look that up, some of those autocorrects on facebook are hilarious. Not to everyones taste but I really like frankie boyle...
I like Frankie Boyle too, but only on the TV as he's limited to what he can say. I wouldn't go and see him live, l think he's got 'issues' - what with some of the stuff he comes out with there's just no excuse is there?
Happy moneysaving all.0
