Things are looking up
Wife told me last night that she thinks she is getting there re the attracted/fancy me bit again; Says we are more like we used to be, which we are, both more thoughtful towards one another and although a long way to go we are hopeful and now look forward to seeing each other every evening, where didnt really worry about it before.
There will be blips, I know, we had one this weekend but, for me the images aren't so bad and if I do get them, I just tell myself what a t*** he is, Wife says that hindsight is a wonderful thing and wishes she could put the clock back.
Thank you people

You sound like you are on the road to recovery. Dont rest on your laurels - keep up the effort - it pays off such dividends. They key to a succesful relationship in these busy times is spending time together and also time together without kids etc too (in my opinion). Spending time languishing in each others company and getting to know each other again is amazing and a right eye opener! Its tragic how you can drift apart when everyday life, work, kids, friends etc get in the way. Its wonderful that you have given each other another chance. I am so proud of you both. We give ourselves a treat every so often and go away for a night to a hotel such as Malmaison or Hotel du Vin. We take a bottle of Champers, a picnic and just stay in the room and play! If money is tight, we get someone to have the kids overnight for us and I turn our bedroom into a hotel room (ie tidy up, dust and polish, add flowers, candles the works) and we do the same. No tv, just nice music. We also make the effort to look really nice for each other.
Have Fun!!!0 -
Thanks DD
Yep things are OK, she even text me today saying 'that she thought she would get in first and told me 'ILY', she would never have done this before. Life is feeling so much better, especially when you look at the original post. Your right thought, cant rest on our laurels, still a long way to go before all is right but we are getting there, thanks again22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

Hi all
Wife in bristol at the mo, went up today, accidentally took my keys as well as hers, but we joked about it, had to get a lift in, she didnt realise until she was an hour away and i was just going to work.
She was going to stay overnight but she decided to come back and go up again in the morning, I told her to stay although was honest enough to say I would have to try and get used to her doing this again.
Anyway she ended up taking her mum up while she worked for a bit of company.
Just a ramble, sorry if its boring peeps!22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500
