Shirley - please make sure you DO give yourself some time this weekend. Wearing ourselves out doesn't do us any good at all.
I will don't worry. I wonder if getting up early to fit in studying is part of the problem. Though I also feel like I'm coming down with something.

I need / want a break from work, but unfortunately there is only 1 other person who knows our systems in my team, the other is a new junior so cannot be left on his own, and I have another new starter starting in a weeks time. So I'm not going to be able to get any time off work for a couple more weeks. We have a date of mid June for the plasterer to come in and do the work, so I'm thinking of taking some time off just after that.

I'm trying to get my head sorted but DD is in a questioning/drive mummy up the wall mood  I have no idea what I'm going to do today - originally I was going to strip our bed & get it washed/dried/ironed and back on but it's like the middle of the night here it's so dark with clouds  Right, DD is now playing the drums with her toothbrush on the sink.... off to kick someone into gear :mad::mad::mad:

Morning everyone, got 10 minutes before I take DP to dentist and go shopping so thought would pop in and say hello. For the 4th time this week DS1 ran off from school this morning so hence I am back late, again. I have stripped the boys beds, my laundry pile is huge at the minute as I just can't get it dry, think I will have to resort to tumble drier this week :( Couple of dailies done but not many, hopefully be back on time to get the rest done before the bosy finish school.

Aimee sounds a fascinating job, don't know how you are managing to do all those jobs at the same time however, wow!

Shirley hope you're feeling better soon, pleased to hear you are making sure you will get some me time.
One day I might be more organised...........

There I was ready to print out a list and get going on the housework when I look around and decided that apart from the dailies I'm going to nothing to the house  No, I'm going to attack the school website with a vengance. I need to get it up and running in the re-designed view ASAP as one of the mum was telling me that it wouldn't work for her. Oh well, best get some dailies done. The cleaning can be done over the weekend if necessary. Ooooorrrrrr I might do the whole timer thing again. Set the timer for an hour and work on the website then 30 minutes doing other things. I should get quite a bit accomplished that way  Yes, I'll do that. Going to print out the first post (After editing it so it's just the list in Word ;) ) and I'll work my way through that on the 30 minute breaks. :D Right, off to print

and quickly shut the door again but at least i could shut the door.
Have spent all week searching for some of hubbys wage slips and some paper work he needed (hes got a habit of opening mail then just dumping it wear ever he standing/sitting) went through eveything over and over again then just came and sat at computer lifted some things up and they they were:eek: and he said he'd had a good look on the desk oh well they are found now.pulled the sofa out and gave it a hoover and also have found that the kids have been throwing their wrappers and things behind it when i'v said no and they'v sneaked it .Have just transferred all the food from big freezer into the smaller one so it can defrost and it also gave me a chance to see what i need to stock up on.

Afternoon all - Lunch break for 15 minutes for me only because I've spent a good 20+mins just staring out of the bedroom windows at the world going by :o Mostly I was amazed by how black the clouds were, we're talking thick black storm clouds but not a drop of rain yet

Anyways, I've managed to get a couple of pages for the school website edited. I'm waiting on someone on another forum to help me with some javascript - I've asked there before but only got around to looking at the site today and it was just too complicated so I've asked for some more help :o Oh and as for googling images to use :rotfl: Not a chance! WAY to distracting so I'm going to get OH to help me out with that bit ;) :rotfl:

As for housework, erm :o I've wiped the bedroom windows over with a microfibre (only wash them once a month, a quick swipe over weekly with a microfibre keeps the sticky finger & greasy forehead/hair marks down  ), all the stuff is lifted up off the floors in the bedrooms ready to hoover, erm.... Oh I've cleaned out the inside of the heater in our bedroom  I wondered what the dust-burning smell was coming from :o Thats going to be added to my weekly (monthly during the summer when not needed) list now as well. I've also managed to do 2 lots of dishes since I last logged in :D Just a couple of BIG things (baking trays, mixing bowl which has been soaking & the slowcooker crock) left to do which I'll do with my lunch dishes. It would be really nice to have a clear worktop tonight as tea is likely to produce quite a few dishes - we're having wrap-things with beef & chicken, salad and whatever else needs to be used up ;) Meat is out defrosting on the windowsil in the kitchen in a tupplewear box as I forgot to get it out last night

Right, time I was off as I need to email the school, sort out a couple of ebay bits (checking for questions etc) and I've not long left of my break!
