    Hey everyone,

@JAG - Glad this has been added 😊

@skintus_mcgintus – If you needed to lodge a claim and this is successful please just post a message on this to say you were also expecting the bonus 😊

@Akira181 – I’ll explain this as best as I can for you.

So in your example of a 3.15% rate. The 3% is from the retailer the 0.15 is 5% of this rate.

So if you spent £65.12 you should be getting £1.95 from the retailer and £0.09 from us. There are amounts less than a penny In each of these calculations which is why when you work out 3.15% straight away you get that extra penny.

    I hope this helps 😊

@DMC1001 - I will get back to you asap however, it will be our log in team that need to assist with your query.

@steve1500 – We haven’t, this method is still available 😊

    Best wishes,
    Matt

  • Hi Matt

My problem is that I have been told the tracking will not resolve itsef until May 2019. That’s a long time away.

Will I even remember at that stage about the missing bonus cashback!

It seems a very long time to wait; the TCB bonus system does not seem very efficient! Some kind of “bonus pending” status would surely make more sense?

@skintus_mcgintus - You can post on the claim now just as a for your info post.

It is something I am currently speaking to our tech team about to see if we can make this a more automatic system for you :)

  • Why do you let companies do this?

This is going to the site direct...

    without-tcb.jpg

Then this is going via TCB (with a 10% new customer cashback potentially) the price is well over 10% hiked up!

Fake illusion of a discount, if they pay out, which is never guaranteed anyway. I thought you banned suppliers doing this?

  • You can get the £13.39 price by googling Acuvue Oasys and clicking on the shopping link. It's why I almost never use TCB for contact lenses because I can get a bigger discount this way.
  • does the Amazon cashback work for Amazon Fresh?

    Hi TCB

Currys have scammed me on their 10% cashback offer which was a 1 day only deal on 1 July 2018. This tracked fine at 10%, then 'declined' about 2 months later.

I put in a Claim and have heard back the following:
    'Hi there,

I can confirm that we have now received an update as regards to this status of this claim. Unfortunately it seems that the merchant has taken the decision to decline this submission, and as such we have not received any cashback to pay over to you or add as a pending indication to your account.

The reason that we have received to support this decision states…

“terms and conditions were not met for this transaction”.'

I appreciate you are only passing on a message, but this decline reason is completely bogus. Items were paid for in full on my AMEX, nothing was returned, no vouchers were used as can be seen on my e-mail receipt given to TCB as part of the claim.

I've replied back again, but if Currys are lying to you, no doubt they will still come up with other fibs.

Is it better for me to start formal action against Currys or can you do more when they've now had two opportunities to pay cashback, but failed to do so.

    Thanks

Thank you! , that will be how I got the cheaper price, although I didn't know a Google link could get a cheaper price for anything..

Always assumed it would be dearer as the supplier has to pay Google for the referral

Its something worth exploring in future!
