@jpears....in line with TCB's mission statement and Customer Care's policy on transparency....

you have no hope....you'd almost think the dept is run by someone who used to work for MI6. The way it seems to work is....if you make a claim and get it...great ...if you don't , we'll tell you some story (using cut and paste) as to why it's been declined...and that's the end of the matter...

TopCashback seems to be swiftly going downhill...and they're not doing much to help customers.

    Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a nice weekend and are all fresh and ready for the week again!

@JPears - As I am sure you can understand and appreciate we will not be able to provide details for any cashback network here and it wouldn't be right to do that. Like you are our members, we are theirs. This cashback is in line to be paid to us as the commission source and it's us who decide to award this to you (which is why we are a cashback site and not a commission site). However, emailing me will allow me to see exactly why claims are being declined and I will then be able to help you from there.

@mamabuddah - We help members where we can and with any issue they have. Their are some things beyond our control such as the speed of cashback which is the issue affecting you which is clearly covered in the fair play policy, terms and conditions, merchant terms and in the help section. Other issues like tracking can often be averted and we can help members with that by providing them with help and support.

I have answered the query in regards to your cashback and as far as I am aware this is the only issue you have with your account. I have therefore helped you as much as I can at this moment in time in line with our Fair Play policy in mind and in line with how we are dealing with this matter for both members who do and do not query it.

    Best wishes,
    Matt

@matt...I wasn't querying anything for myself...so "thanks" for your curt response, although maybe you should stop trading with ARGOS or at least suspend the promises that you still appear to be making, til it gets sorted for me and others who've been shortchanged? .......I was merely pointing out to @JPears, regarding the info he was requesting...

"Perhaps you should give clients the contact details of the agents dealing with this so MSE ers can deal directly and promptly with them for speedier resolution."

that he has no chance whatsoever of getting that from TCB....you might want to pretty it up a bit....but its the same answer.

and finally "speed of cashback" you guys are having a joke, perhaps you should rephrase that to "yawn....tardiness of cashback"

I know how TCB work and what they do to 'hoodwink' members and potential members. It annoys me when their members get 'conned' and TCB simply state 'nothing further can be done', when that in itself is a complete and utter lie. They (TCB) know from my experiences alone, what can be achieved by taking the 'bull by the horns'.

Snap and Save as others have experienced, is a complete and utter joke now. It shows and highlights TCB's incompetence. Leave it alone would be my suggestion. Go with those that are reliable.

To sum up, when TCB let you down, go and get the cash yourself. Either from a merchant complaint direct or via the Small Claims Service.
I'll be back with my experiences, but not until later in the year. Any more issues and I'll be taking TCB on direct.

You pretty much summed it up with TCB. I had to go small claims court to get my money. TCB will not dare to not pay out to me since then.

    Hi everyone,

@mamabuddah - Thanks for coming back. Following on from your comments about the cashback process I did wish to clear up a couple of things up which I did in the response.

@ArsenalFC - We will always pay our members the cashback we are awarded for a transaction. If a situation is resolved through other means, including through customer queries this comes out of our own pockets from revenue earned elsewhere. We have no interest in cashback earned by our members which is why we award it to our members as soon as we are paid it. I have personally addressed the point several times in regards to what cashback is and how it's not a special offer. We don't promise cashback for transactions we are not paid for but if you find any other suggestions anywhere else on our site please let me know so I can thoroughly investigate. A special offer or voucher code is a special offer but cashback is commission we are paid for referring you to make a purchase. If we are not paid the commission the cashback transaction cannot be awarded.

    Best wishes,
    Matt

Just been checking my account for the final transfer to Tesco's. Very pleased that I managed to come up with a combination of amounts to get to £49.99.

Was looking at other pay out methods & saw, the info. It says that Sun Bingo is not permissible.

On the T & C's and other information page. There is absolutely no reference to any type of restriction on the pay out method.

A bit concerned about this, what with the change in the Tesco's pay out method.

    Can you clarify

    Good Afternoon,

@Steve1500 - Unfortunately some merchants only allow cashback from themselves to be withdrawn via specific methods. I am sorry to say that this merchant does only allow cashback to be withdrawn via BACS.

    Kind Regards

My issue is the T &C's don't say there is any type of restriction. Had I known that Sun Bingo wouldn't allow me to transfer the money to Tesco's I would have taken that via BACS, as against the other amounts I took via BAC & would have still ended up with nearly £50 going to T's

TCB made the mistake by not saying in the T & C's these are the restrictions

So I can't see why it is so difficult to adjust your systems / pay out method, for what, quite clearly is not my fault.

    hi @Matt Topcashback Company Rep:

Just thought I'd mention it's only a week or so to my 7 month anniversary of ARGOS ripping me off on my cashback (and looking at the recent feedback for ARGOS on TCB I'm not the only one waiting this length of time)....so @Matt....any updates on TCB sorting out this debacle?

    Hi,

I am still waiting for cashback for an order from Sky which was taken out on the 8th August last year and a missing cashback claim created on the 2nd September.
I did email you in February and a message was added to my missing cashback claim regarding the claim being added to a query log.
Another enquiry in April resulted in me being told that the claim had been sent to the network as part of a lapsed file.
How long should I expect to wait for cashback from Sky?

I have also emailed you with the details

    thanks

    At first I was afraid.......then I was petrified.…
