    Hi Guys,

I hope you are all having a good day!

@thriftymanc - Unfortunately this merchant is not on the site at the moment. We do hope this is temporary and if we can add them back on the in the future we will do :)

@ArsenalFC - I am sorry you disagree with the information I have gathered from data in our system. I can see when we were last paid by a merchant and to cover what transactions. This contains more information than the overall picture given on the merchant pages.

@B_M - I do hope it tracks as we would hope but if it doesn't please do lodge a claim so we can get it queried. Please remember to clear cookies which I am sure you already know as it can help everything track as we would expect :D

@bristolleedsfan - Sometimes it's not as clear cut as that I am afraid as a batch can sometimes contain different age ranges and not all transactions within that period.

@mamabuddah - I will be happy to explain this a bit more for you. The cashback network tells us the cashback rate available for each merchant and sometimes this is broken down further into cashback tiers for certain products. The system gets a bit more complex if the merchant doesn't pay cashback on VAT, Delivery etc as this wont be counted in cashback calculations. In addition to this some merchants will not pay cashback on purchases made with gift vouchers and so this is also taken into consideration. The final potential issue is if the commission is split between different referrers. This can mean we only receive part of the commission and no one is at fault as this can be standard procedure if it's not clear who the last referrer was. The rates displayed are fully covered within the terms and conditions both on the merchant's TopCashback page and also the general TopCashback Terms.

    I do hope this helps.

    Best wishes,
    Matt

    @Matt from TCB

I've looked at your reasoning...to be honest it doesn't really answer what I'm asking, so I'll try and help

    TCB advertise...

    MSE001.jpgso I make a purchase through TCB
    MSE002.jpgEventually TCB confirm my purchase.

They make a payment a lot less than the TCB advertised rate

I query this (transaction took place last November 2015)

    Still haven't got an answer.

Perhaps looking at these screen grabs you can explain where any of what you have posted above comes into play...none of it appears relevant.

you advertise, you show tiers (see screen grab) I purchase (see screen grab), no vouchers, no delivery it's "Fastrack", no other referrer, your systems work out VAT on any claim amount, so I ask again, "what's the problem?"

Maybe when you look at the evidence, which nobody at TCB has yet looked at (even though I offered months ago) the least you could do is honour the correct payment...seeing as you can't give a reason.

I'm inclined to think it's to do with the fact I did everything correctly...your systems didn't track (looking on MSE you have to admit this does happen through no fault of customers) then when the transaction is eventually confirmed ( without any urgency from TCB ) the "special rate" has expired...retailer then only pays normal rate...TCB refuse to correct the failing on their part in sorting this promptly, now TCB issue the standard "platitudes" on why they won't pay out....usually everybody's fault but theirs.

I look forward to your answers on why you don't pay your advertised rate.

    Thank You

    TCB,

Could you please explain how a purchase wiith Netbet Casino can go from tracked to declined within 4 days of signing up ?

You were running an increased offer of £55 cashback at the weekend for signing up, depositing £20 in one go and then playing it. I'm not already a member, nor did I deposit 2 x £10, it was 1x £20 and nor did I use a promotional code, therefore all terms followed to the letter.

I did that and it's already declined, just as it has for dozens of other people already (as sourced from another forum). Doesn't look very good from a customer point of view and looks decidely dodgy to me and the others and a quickfire way to gain money without any intention of payng out.

    Your comments please.

    I've been Money Tipped!

@B_M - I do hope it tracks as we would hope but if it doesn't please do lodge a claim so we can get it queried. Please remember to clear cookies which I am sure you already know as it can help everything track as we would expect :D

Realistically, based on past experiences, what's the actual chance of that?
Not tracked as yet, but should by tomorrow, if at all.
Of the three choices, what would you say would be the most unlikely outcome? I'll give a little clue.:D

    Not tracked.
Tracked at the correct promoted 'exclusive' rate.
Tracked at the correct promoted 'exclusive' rate.

I'll update over the weekend, but at least Hoppa listen and act.

If it does track correctly today, I'll take that as an April Fool's joke. :rotfl:
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

    Hi Everyone,

I hope you didn't get fooled today! (It's past 12pm now so don't worry)

@mamabuddah - In order for me to have a proper look into this for you I will need you to drop me an email. You can do this via the email address mse@topcashback.co.uk.
However, I would like to clarify a couple of things and that is that TopCashback don't validate your purchases or decide on the cashback amount. Cashback doesn't get confirmed until a couple of weeks after the purchase as the merchant needs to ensure this hasn't been returned etc. The promotional rate may well have ended but the amount awarded to us is the promotional rate available at the time you purchased.

@Aesop - If the person goes to our help section there is a form they can fill in to get in contact with us without the need to log in :) Alternatively ask them to email mse@topcashback.co.uk.

@bristolleedsfan - This quote is true and we do display the rates available (unless a rate has changed unexpectedly and we haven't been alerted) . What isn't covered here is that commission can be split up and there can be reasons for us not being awarded the full amount of commission.

@CHRISSYG - If you can drop me an email I can take a look at where we are at with your transaction.

@Wheres My Cashback - In order to get the answer you require we need you to lodge a Missing Cashback Claim. This will either lead to an overturned decision or a reason for the decline. Such a quick decline may lead me to believe we were not recognised as the last referrer of your purchase but there may be another reason.

@B_M - I can see the overall tracking with merchants across the board and if we look at that the chances are very high :)

I do hope this helps everyone.

    Best wishes,
    Matt

i have been a member of topcashback for many years and never had any problems, however i am trying to claim some of the cash back now via payout and having difficult. I can see all my earnings and click which method of payout i want, but then it asks me to log in again and just won't go any further. i have tried changing my password and still get to the same page. it also won't let me submit a ticket as i can't get passed the log in page, even though i can still earn cash back when shopping, can still see all my earnings etc - very strange!. any help would be appreciated

I have already submitted a claim. You can ONLY be the last referrer as I've never visted any site like this before, 100% clear my cookies/history prior to ALL purchases via cashback sites and doesn't explain why multiple people have reported the same thing ;-)
