    £18.18 cashback still on pending since jan 2015. TCB are comical at times they think we don't notice that they hold onto cashback, circus and clowns comes to mind.

    I have been using TCB and all of a sudden they closed my account blocking my login. I have mailed a number of times to contact@topcashback.co.uk and I have sent a number of reminders to Andrew, there is no reply from TCB for more than a year now.

    The TCB tempt people to buy online but do not keep their word. :doh: Topcashback is a :spam: The number of posts in this forum itself undermines their credibility. I also switched to quidco in the past 12 months and they are prompt in paying our cashback

    @legendkiller2k8 - I would like to publicly assure you that we do not hold cashback and we will mark the transaction as payable as fast as physically possible. It wouldn't be good for our members or even ourselves if we kept members waiting any longer than necessary.

    Every merchant does take a different time to pay cashback and I will not dispute this. However, what I can confirm is that the time taken to pay cashback is not down to how much the cashback is worth and I do believe this has been explained in the past. Sometimes the product that the transaction relates to can affect the payout speed for cashback as for some insurance/contract related cashback the merchant may have a set validation period. This is a period of time that has to pass before the merchant pays the cashback.

    Therefore I can further assure you that we wont have received payment for your transaction and as soon as we have we will progress the transaction in your account.

    @kimuinteractive - I am very sorry to hear you have not heard back about your log in issues. Can you kindly send me an email to mse@topcashback.co.uk? I may need some personal information about your account and so it would be safer to discuss this matter there.

    Sorry but it don't wash with me the merchants wouldn't be too happy if i withheld payment from them for 7 months would they? I firmly believe it is Topcashback who are holding onto the money it's happening too often for it to be down to the merchant.

    Hi

    I have two issues with topcash back site,I have made two orders with Sky Digital through your site one i made on 25th April 2015 the cash back amount was £80 but on my account wrong amount tracked which is £60.

    The second issue is that i made another order with Sky on 24th July 2015 and again the cash back amount was £80 but this transaction does not appear at all on my account although it shows in click to merchants section.

    Please have a look i only signed up with Sky due to these cash back offers. I have sent support ticket and sent email to mse@topcasback.co.uk but no reply

    @Legendkiller2k8 - Thanks for getting back to us. Going by the information you have provided, it would seem that your cashback does relate to a contract related purchase. In cases such as this you do enter into a contract with the merchant which does require you to maintain payment as explained within the terms of your agreement. Cashback on the other hand is not contractual and unfortunately is not something that is guaranteed. Therefore we do rely on these amounts being paid to us from the merchant so we can pass these amounts onto our members as cashback. I can further reiterate that we will not hold onto our members’ cashback and pass this over to our members as soon as it is received.

    @ Digital_2012 – I have just checked our email inbox and I am not able to locate a message from yourself. Could you kindly resend this for me? I will be more than happy to take a closer look into your transactions for you.

  • I took out car insurance via Topcashback in May 2104
    After numerous correspondence with Topcashback to date still not received any cashback. First time I've used Topcashback and looks like the last time I'll use. Topcashback "says" they cannot pay until they receive the funds from the Merchant. They still allow the Merchant to advertise on the Topcashback website even though they know the Merchant does not honour paying the cashback. I'm still waiting to see if the cashback will happen...

    It's becoming a common occurance with TCB now and they wonder why i firmly believe that they pocket peoples cashback.
    After 6 years of using TCB i no longer use them getpoundsback and imutual are much much better at least they are honest too unlike TCB.

    @kevinshome - Thanks for leaving a message and I am glad to hear you decided to try us out. I am sorry however, to hear that your first transaction is taking quite some time to progress. Unfortunately it can be the case with insurance and contract related cashback that it takes quite a few weeks to progress. This is the case because the merchants generally require a few weeks to pass as a validation period before they can progress the transaction.

    I am sorry to say that it is the case that we are unable to pass the cashback on to our members before we are paid as you would have been told in the support ticket. As I'm sure you can appreciate cashback works on commission and what we do is pass onto you and the rest of our members the commission we receive from the merchant.

    I can assure you that outstanding cashback is looked into by the cashback network as they are the people who invoice the merchant for the cashback. They will certainly pass the money onto us as soon as physically possible.

    I am really sorry I can't bring you a more positive answer and I do truly hope it doesn't take much longer for the merchant to pay us the cashback.

    @legendkiller2k8 - With the increase in users, transactions and merchants on our site the chance of more people commenting about cashback taking longer will also likely increase. As a site the easy way around this would be to not display estimates or previous pay out estimates. However, we have found that on the whole our members prefer having these estimates and I can only apologise for them causing you frustration.
