Hello,
I hope that everyone is looking forward to the weekend!
@Mr K, thank you for your feedback, this is how we have always opted to order the reviews but there is the option for our members to sort these by either lowest star or newest first also, depending on how you prefer to view these. In regards to the forum, we decided just under a year ago to remove this from site, as a company, we have found that we are able to assist our members more efficiently via our support ticketing system.
@enditnow, that is great to hear and I hope that you were sure to treat yourself with this
@carh, I can assure you that the majority of cashback is received by our members within the time frame provided. Sometimes it can take a little longer as these are only estimates at the end of the day, but where a transaction does not become payable a fair time after the estimated payable speed, this will always receive the networks attention and whilst they may not be able to resolve this as quickly as hoped, as soon as we do go on to receive the cashback, this is passed straight on to our members.
Best wishes,

To the representitive: Can I ask why you quote this phrase every time a pop up box opens after visiting a site "Any cashback earned will show in your TopCashback account within 7 days.
We will also email you to confirm once it's tracked."
One of the reasons we are all moaning on here is because the cashback does NOT appear within 7 days and I have never once had an email from you in any shape or form since belonging to your site. Already this is false information. Someone needs to review your wording as it is not true and hence upsetting everyone who never seems to see their cashback more quickly, if everCarh:A0 -
Hi Carh,
I hope that you enjoyed the weekend!
Any tracked transaction should appear within a 7 day period which is why we state on the pop up box "Any cashback earned will show in your TopCashback account within 7 days''. If this has not appeared within the 7 days estimated, then this is when we would suggest lodging a claim.
As for the email, once a transaction has tracked after purchase, not including transactions that you have claimed for, then you should go on to receive a transaction notification email. However, this is an optional email and you can select to unsubscribe from this on your account here -

This could be why you have not received this as expected.
Please do let me know if you have any further questions and I would be happy to help.

Have you logged in to your account to see if you set it up to receive emails?
My cash back has always tracked well within the 7 days and I get an email every single time I do a transaction.
It does frustrate me sometimes when people complain about cash back sites, I look at it that if I get it then its a bonus and if the merchant doesn't forward it to the cash back site then thats just how it is.

Firstly, I'd like to say I can actually see an improvement with tcb. Tracking has been great and, after concerns (re reviews), payments are coming in within estimates (generally bang on time). The filter for reviews has been fixed, though I still strongly disagree with the default setting (highest rating). If it was possible for members to set a newest default as 'permanent'. then this would be acceptable and a compromise. You can set to newest, but it has to be re-set every time you sign in.
I've left positive reviews for those merchants who deserve positive reviews and who don't just use affiliate marketing to gain sales.
@tcb, what I personally would like to see improved, is the splitting of payments, so you could split say a £60 individual payment into £50 Tesco points and £10 cash (or other). Anything larger than the current Tesco limit, and you're very limited. Impossible for larger transactions, like Sky, insurances etc.
Is there a possibility for change here, and / or, will the Tesco points limit allowance be raised?
Food for thought? No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -

I am pleased for you that they appear to have improved. I cannot say it has for me, I am just getting nothing tracking at all despite AdBlock being turned off and I have to claim for everything. I have just heard from TCB that one of my claims from July has been rejected by the retailer(Tesco Direct) which does not surprise me as Tesco have proved to be appalling in everything but food with all the services I have used from them. I am giving TCB the benefit of the doubt on this as I do believe Tesco are bad. But it seems ridiculous if these retailers refuse to pay for completely spurious reasons (Tesco have made up 4 excuses so far when I proved them wrong on the last 3). What's the point!
There is definitely something going wrong for you, my Tesco Direct claims have always tracked and gone through.
I can't think of anything for you to do to improve the situation, are you a member of any other cash back sites and if so how is the tracking on those?
I used to be a member of Quidco but I ditched them as Topcashback seems to work better for me for some reason.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. @carh, Tesco have seemed to have had issues for ages, I agree.
I use Firefox when using tcb and tracking for myself over many years has been good and not too many claims. But, I finding tracking for a lot of merchants is almost instant, well within an hour and many within 5 minutes.
Some of the estimates seem more reliable now and so they should.
I'll never be complacent and I always take the likes of financial cash back promotions very seriously. I've gone direct many, many times! But not of late. The last 2 have come through as promoted and I still have a couple to come through. One is a massive estimated time for payment (36 weeks) and I'm half way there and it has been confirmed. 36 weeks is a joke tbh, but rare. Well outside the FOS 3-4 months advice. I'm not going to chase (yet) this time and see what happens. 36+ weeks would be totally unacceptable though! No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.0 -
