@jamichi1, you have had a final response from tcb, so put in a complaint direct to the merchant. There will be an electronic trace which will be both date and time stamped showing where your original route came from. If it was from tcb, this should easily be identifiable.

I'm disappointed I didn't get a reply to my recent post today, another avoided. I'm already on top of this issue and have started the ball rolling in anticipation of what can only be described as the 'inevitable'. I won't paste the saved response I've received just yet, I'm awaiting a last and final final response. The fist response didn't take my complaint seriously at all I believe and appears as a 'not us guv' reply!

  • Need help please. I joined topcashback and went on to complete some of the offers. I had accrued a nice little sum in my account. I had even withdrawn some of it with no problems. Then one day I went to log in to find that my account was no longer there. I couldn't retrieve a password because I kept getting told that my email was invalid....even though this was the email address that Topcashback had emailed to confirm the withdrawl of some of my funds. I have contacted Topcashback 3 times, each time being sent the bog standard reply that someone will be in touch with me in 7-10 days. No-one ever was. To my recollection there is approximately £226 in my account that I now am mysteriously unable to access. I have a full list of all the transactions I made and confirmation that I have attempted to contact Topcashback numerous times, the last time being 18 September 2014

Can you let me know who on earth I contact so that i can redeem this money?

One account is allowed per person.

We reserve the right to refuse membership and further, in the event of fraudulent, abusive or other activity we determine to be un-fair, we reserve the right to terminate your account. In addition, please note that accounts may be disabled if they are deemed to be dormant accounts, as outlined in Section 4.

As a condition of membership, you will need to accept service emails from Top Cashback and authenticate your email address. Please note that you will also be signed up to receive emails from us detailing cashback deals, updates to our blogs and other emails in relation to our website and services. You can opt out of these emails from within your account pages.

If you have joined via a friend's referral (tell-a-friend) link, then the referrer (your friend) may be able to see if you have reached the cashback threshold required in order for them to gain a tell-a-friend bonus, they will also be able to see the date you signed up and your username.

We reserve the right to terminate a member's account if a serviceable email address is not provided and also if that member marks our emails as abusive, junk or spam.

    Hi everyone,

@zippyladoodles, the claim process can be long-winded and we do ask that you allow around 12 weeks from the date that this was submitted to the network, for a resolution to be received. As soon as we have received any further information, we will be sure to update you on your claim thread.

@jamichi1, I am sorry that we did not answer your question, if you could email myself at mse@topcashback.co.uk with the details of the claim that you are referring to, I would be happy to take a look into this for you.

@B_M, I am sorry that you feel we have avoided you, I was intending on getting back to you today after looking into this further.

@ksprig, if you could email me at mse@topcashback.co.uk, I would be more than happy to take a look into this and advise :)

    Best wishes,
    Samantha

How long does Argos On-Card cashback take to pay out?

There is no estimated date on mine.

@tcb Samantha, thank you for intervening with this issue and bringing it to completion, something your colleague couldn't do. A response on here yesterday simply stating you would get back after looking into the issue would have been suffice and better than nothing.
But I'd like to add that if you think changing the payment timescales from an initial 12 weeks to a whopping 43 weeks is acceptable, then there is something clearly wrong with your company. It's misleading at the very least and I believe trading unfairly, very unfairly. To myself, it's a sign of a very devious company!
Resolved, so many thanks for that. Good luck with this merchant you feel comfortable with promoting.

I've had problems with TCB over the last year.

3 declined and one incorrect amount. The 3 declined are merchants I have used before and have been paid by successfully.

One was given the "the network has not identified ourselves as the last referral" excuse.
One was apparently refused by the merchant.
And the last was declined due to the merchant saying that the order number is wrong. There was no request for more information from TCB, just a flat "YOU HAVE BEEN DECLINED"!

The one that had the wrong amount reverted to the normal percentage and not a special offer one.

All in all, I am missing over £100 in cashback.

    Hi there,

@B_M, I am glad that I have been able to assist in resolving this and again, please do accept my apologies for the lack of response. We would rather provide our members with a more realistic time frame, rather than continue to promote this at 12 weeks and the cashback not come through until week 43, but I can understand what you are saying. As we have said, we are looking into this with the merchant via the network and will continue to do so until any outstanding cashback is received.

@manic, I am sorry to hear that you have experienced a few declined claims, where we have not been identified as the last referral, I am afraid that this is not something that we are able to easily get overturned and will often mean that your click has been registered to another source, for example, a search engine or an unauthorised voucher code, this is why we do suggest clearing your cookies prior to your purchase. The claim where your order number has been deemed incorrect, are you able to respond to your claim regarding this? If you have any other references at all on any correspondence that you received, if you could pass this forward via your claim thread, we may be able to look into this further for you. Regarding your last claim, we are not always provided with a reason from the merchant as to why a claim has been declined, but if you could get in touch with me at mse@topcashback.co.uk with the claim details, I can see if I am able to find out any further information regarding this for you.

    Best wishes,
    Samantha

    Hi @Juzza12,

I have just noticed my response has not posted :(

In regards to the Argos on card cashback, could you kindly allow up to 12 weeks for this to progress? Hopefully though, this goes on to progress once the returns period has passed.

    I hope that this helps!
