    I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not surprised about the responses. They only provide copied and pasted responses anyway - and they can do that endlessly and tirelessly as well - I give them that!

    Is there any likelihood of the existing amount (£50) that you can switch to Tesco's clubcard being increased?

    @tcb Samantha, thanks again. We'll agree to disagree regarding the closure of the tcb forum and put it purely down to coincidence the forum was closed after many, many months of issues being posted and the 'grumbles and gripes' being bombarded on a daily basis. But at least for tcb, the 'grumbles and gripes' thread has now gone. looks like it's appearing right here on MSE though. ;-)

    A positive, I've just had a financial transaction track rapidly. Hopefully this will be paid within the 19 weeks stated and not need chasing up. The FOS state financial cash back offers should be paid within 3-4 months (anything over is excessive), but I'll gladly wait 19 weeks if it will be paid by then. A new merchant for myself and a great cash back deal with a great quote.
    No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.
  • I have just used TCB for an offer today, £32.55 cashback from William Hill when I open an account with said bookie and lodge £10 which I then bet with.

    My query is twofold. Firstly, this effectively looks like free money, so am I being naive in expecting this to actually happen?

    Secondly, due to a technical error, I opened the account through TCB but then had to deposit and bet the £10 by logging in again, the account was clearly open it just wouldn't take my payment on the first go. I have bet the £10 on a football accumulator tonight, which probably won't win, but as the account itself was opened through the TCB link, will I still get the cash even though I didn't deposit through the link?

    None of my purchases via TopCashBack were being tracked this year. I'd previously not had any problems and know to clear my cache and enable cookies, etc. I did a google search and found that people had problems when running Adblock Plus. I had been running Adblock Plus for quite a while as an add-on in Firefox. I disabled Adblock Plus and sure enough my recent purchases have all tracked.

    A note in the FAQs on the TopCashBack site about this issue would be useful.

    I have been vocal when things haven't worked on Top Cashback, so thought it only fair to be vocal when they do something nice. Having problems/very long wait with Scottish Friendly for a confirmed payment. Asked for an update from TCB and they kindly paid the money on this occasion, stating that it was a goodwill gesture as they are confident that they will receive the money from the merchant. So there you go, something nice and money has come in handy for the last week before payday!

    I noticed a few others saying none of their purchases had been tracked and that Adblock was a problem.:( How do I remove this myself as the same is happening to me and I am blasting TCB about their inefficiency at present because of the problems!:mad:

I can see, looking into this, that we are now no longer offering any discount codes for this merchant.

    I can see what you are saying but this is why we have the option to alter the reviews to view these by most recent. As previously mentioned, this is something that we do review regularly and at this stage, it is not something that we will be changing. When reviews are left these are, the majority of the time, based on a bad experience, but I can confirm that from looking at the statistics for this merchant, the majority of transactions have progressed to payable as expected. If a transaction goes on to decline, then we do not receive the cashback for this to pass on to the member, but this is why we have the claims system in place, so that we can try to get this decision appealed for you.

    You can always get in touch with our Customer Care Team with any queries that you may have and we will always answer these to the best of our abilities.

    @POPPYOSCAR, I am afraid that we do not work with the merchant direct so it is not something that we are able to discuss with them, but I will be sure to pass your feedback forward regarding this and see if this is something that we can look into.

    I have received the cashback as it appears TCB have seen sense and done the right thing in the end. Credit to them for that.
    Re: reviews I still feel that the way its done on your site is not very good.
    There are lots of positive reviews for ebookers and they have a 4 star rating apparently so its clearly not just negative reviewers who post. However these reviews go back 6 years. This is a long time and its the newest reviewers who are having issues and where the 1 or 2 star reviews are being written. Its the current ones that are relevant to your members and the way your review system is set up is very misleading.
    Probably not in your interest to change it I suppose.
    Ironically ebookers may not even be at fault in many cases if it was TCB cashback compatible codes that you wrongly added, that led to the declined payments anyway, as I suspect in my case.
