JSA - JobCentre: own email report to myself as proof in case of issue with my adviser

These referrals and sanction have been around for years, the only reason they are such hot topic now is the sanctions are much bigger, miss an appointment and it 4 or 13 weeks, previously you lost a maximum of a few days, not done enough to look work previously two weeks maximum, now 4 or 13 weeks . Fail to apply for a job previously 26 weeks now up 3 years.
Advisers do not get any performance related pay, do not earn commission on referrals. Bear in mind not all referrals result in sanctions and my last point if job seekers think it is bad now then wait till Universal Credit comes in!! 30hrs per week on jobsearch.0 -
Nearly million sanctions were issued last year, often on jumped up charges. Many job-seeker's have been sanction for not applying for a Job when in-fact they have. Simply down to the sheer numbers of people applying, Often their application is binned or deleted without ever being looked at.

Being rude to people that are trying to help you is not on. You really are your own worst enemy.A cat who's been sprayed with hot water, will then be afraid of his own bowl of innocent fresh water.0 -
Some people just make trouble for themselves and the OP is one of them, after a short time you should learn how to jump over the hurdles the JC put in front of you.
You do not know what you are talking about...
PS: According to CAB adviser, JobCentre are worst in some areas than others....A cat who's been sprayed with hot water, will then be afraid of his own bowl of innocent fresh water.0 -

Maybe I'm a little naive, but if you want as painless time as JCP as you can get, you attend, tell them the positives things you've been doing to find work, show your evidence and attend the meetings/appointments they've arranged for you. What's the big deal?!A cat who's been sprayed with hot water, will then be afraid of his own bowl of innocent fresh water.0

It seems that you do not know what you are talking about...you statements are just contradictory : "after a short time you should learn how to jump over the hurdles the JC put in front of you." The only way to jump over misleading and harassment is a report of has been agreed.A cat who's been sprayed with hot water, will then be afraid of his own bowl of innocent fresh water.0 -

Of course it's not fair that's what people are trying to tell you.
Those that play the 'game' stay under the radar and get their benefits.
Those that email and cause a fuss paint a HUGE RED TARGET on their backs and they want you out of their lives so they will do what they can to do that.
It's hilarious reading your responses though so do carry on.Sanctimonious Veggie. GYO-er. Seed Saver. Get in.0 -

Not that again
I worked in the job centre as a new deal advisor. The front line staff do not have targets to sanction people because they do not sanction people, they REFER people to the decision maker. A decision is then made by a faceless person on the evidence submitted.
A referral is really very different to a sanction. If there was no evidence to support to the referral then the sanction would not be put in place.
If you're meeting the conditions of your job seekers agreement and can prove so, you won't be referred and certainly not sanctioned. What's the issue?!
In my case, with the strong prejudices that JobCentre staff have in my borough (Lambeth) it is very easy for them to refer the wrong...A cat who's been sprayed with hot water, will then be afraid of his own bowl of innocent fresh water.0
