That's excellent
I have given up, I sent ebay messages with the whole story, copies of the messages me and the buyer sent back and forth, copied their nasty (and lying) feedback but ebay wouldn't do anythingI should have photographed the parcel they sent back really but was just so emotional didn't even consider it.

What's this £5 a month thing everyone is talking about?
And can i ask for ebays free listing weekend - what does it include? I usually start all my auctions at 99p so they are all free to list anyway. But if I decided to do a BIN or start at a higher price would they be free this weekend? xxMisc debts - £5,000 | Student loan - £9,000 | Mortgage - £180,000

do you have a smartphone chaz? you need android or iPhone, doesnt work on blackberry.
with free listing, you can start your bids at any price you like, which is better than 99p if that is not what you wantcan only do it on items, not BINS.
and you can only list 100 at free listing.0 -

Just been listing on the bay - feel like poking my eyes out now cos each one taking so long to add with dongle
- thank goodness BT are coming tomorrow
and hopefully some bidding will happen and make it all worth it!!
Phoned unison as i have decided to get some legal advice re the whole work situation - its still p**ing me off that they have got away with how they treated me - considering they are a mental health organisation and i believe they contributed significantly to my current condition - i just want it recognised and for them to not be able to do the same to others!
Got my shop and scan account sorted today as well

Its not ebay you need to contact hun its paypal - I know it might seem like too much effort and raise your emotion around it again but honestly paypal have specific policies regarding sending empty boxes and i would think you have a good case. Ebay won't tell you to contact paypal cos they don't want to have to refund you! I hate to hear of people getting away with such awful treatment of others and wish i could put in the claim for you!! Am happy to talk you through it if you decide to go ahead and try, if not i understand your decision! xxDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

don't be so hard on yourself. And you are allowed to spend money on essentials. If you need new clothes, then you need to buy them/make them. The positive thing is you are aware of your debts you are working towards paying them off, but you still have to have some kind of life.
do you already try charity shops for the kids/yours/DH's clothes? what about looking for local facebook selling pages where you are? Kids clothes go so cheaply on there! I kitted my son out for £5, newish trainers, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 t-shirts. wouldn't pay that in the shops! and all the stuff was in fairly good condition.
and if you want to give dressmaking a go, why not buy some fabric and give it a go? in the long run it will work out cheaper for you.
Thank you, I am feeling a little better this afternoon, it's been a very tricky few weeks with the easter hols and trying to keep kiddies entertained.
Once they are back in on Monday, I will take some time to wonder around the charity shops on my own, it's really me that needs the clothes, i've been putting it off for months as I don't like to spend money on clothes for myself (craft supplies are a different matter lol) I will keep an eye on the local facebook sites too0 -

In the meantime i would suggest you do something that allows you a little spend - put £1 in a jar once a week and use that to treat your self to some fabric for example, or use one of your earning accounts for treats once you get to cash out. I think its important to be able to spend something on yourself when working on debts (its a bit like a diet - be too strict and you end up wanting MORE chocolate LOL!)
Thank you, you are right, I've just got to find the right balance, between paying things off and still finding a way to live :money:
I've just had a lovely surprise, which made me feel tons better, I got paid for a needlework commission from last October, seems like ages ago, but it only just got published, and that has put me over my target for April already :j I also received a new commission in the post, so I can get started on that one, I won't count it until I get paid though.
All being well, I should be able to clear one of my debts this month, which is a major step in the right direction0 -
Managed the equivalent of a couple of £'s on various survey sites, will log back into them all later on to see if anything extra comes up. None are at draw down stage yet.
Filled that form from the thread regarding old bank accounts for me and OH so will see if anything turns up.
Going to try banging some dvds and stuff on ebay at weekend. Is there anyway I can start sticking stuff on now and release on sat?
Clickworker is a bit disappointing as only got quite a low score for my writing assessment, where as Textbroker that I have been on for a while have assessed me at the highest level (bar professional) of 4 stars. So looks like I will stick to textbroker for now.
