Djelhi, I have the same issue ... none of the so called mobile buyers will offer more than about 10p / £1 for a couple of mine ... but I did hear that CEX & similar (shops in high streets) might well give more. I've got some Dvd's which also don't seem to be worth much on music mag etc, but again look like might be more at CEX - so it might be worth looking at before you get rid of them elsewhere for peanuts ?
    Angel xx

Thanks Angel, I shall look into that!

<waving good evening to everyone - or good morning, depending on what time it is!> The last few days have been so busy with work/college/study/placements etc that I haven't really got much done except keeping on with the surveys.

BUT.. managed to claim a £10 Amazon voucher from Valued Opinions, which came in straight away, so that's been added to the pot.

I've also been looking more into FB selling (following Aesop's advice! ^_^) and found a few more pages for my area, I followed a few trails and so I'll be trying a few listings this weekend. And I hear that ebay is free listing again, so I might try a few bits there as well.

I've got several boxes of toys from DS's bedroom (as he's 17 I don't think he's really into Thomas the Tank Engine and Pokemon any more!!! Gawd I am SUCH a Hoarder!!) and loads of small toys and books. As I live just along the road from a primary school I'm wondering if I ought to put a trestle table across my front doorstep around school chucking-out time and sell a load of 10p-teddies and toys! Maybe when schools go back next week :D

Sorry, I have not had time to catch up with the thread...I will do though - tomorrow night :j and looking forward to seeing what has been going on.

Really do hope everyone is ok ? and by the length of the thread already ...I am sure we are all going to do well this month :D

I have spent the last 6 miserable hours () listing every single thing that is genuinely not nailed down on ebay and Gumtree...hopefully the fruits of my labour will pay off in the next 10 days.

2 people on ebay have not paid me :( and i get the gut feeling they never will hey ho.
More annoying is Gumtree people did not bother to turn up ..humph  had my best sales pitch planned for them :rotfl:.

A big one of these :kisses3: for each and every one of you ...keep up the hard work we will get there...you'll see. xxx

Thanks for making me feel better yesterday, i've just been reading through all the posts since last night and you guys rock :money: what an inspiration it is to read through here before starting the day.

(((Hugs))) to those having a tough time, I hope things look brighter soon.

I've just been crunching my numbers and with the £120 commission payment I received yesterday, I am now over my target for the month :T and only a few pounds away from being able to clear my first debt of the year.

I was going to start organising for ebay this morning, but most of my stuff is big, difficult to pack or heavy, so I will try listing on my local facebook pages first I think, see what I can do today.

I have decided to de-stash a load of my crafting stuff, which will allow me the space to sort things out, but also a few pennies to buy some fabric and bits and bobs to give dressmaking a try, so my agreement with the hubby is that any monies made from selling crafting stuff is mine to spend on crafting stuff lol
