    Hi The Doomed,

Sounds like you finally got a good deal out of them :T

My friend got 1050 minutes, 350 texts, unlimited calls to Orange Mobiles, magic no, broadband for £30 but she's not too bothered about texts so if you need unlimited texts then taking a few hundred less mins for the same price sounds a good deal for you.

    Regards

    Michelle

aye cheers for ur PMs. particularly pleased phone doesnt have orange software on it and no camera. -hopefully it may work better than other new nokias then!

I rang them in March with the intention of cancelling both the contracts I had with them. I hadn't upgraded either of them in quite a while.

She asked me why I wanted to cancel and I told her I'd started a new job and I needed a lot of minutes as I was using the phone practically 24-7 and that I could get a better deal elsewhere.

She then offered me phone of my choice, 3000 anytime, any network minutes, 300 free texts, magic number - all for £35 per month on a new 18 month contract.

I accepted that - (have had no end of bother from them ever since) but that's another story!

Wow Sal 3000 mins for £35 is a steal - you definitely got a good deal out of them :T I'm guessing it was due to your not upgrading for so long but even so excellent :D

3000 mins is a very good deal. I dont need that many however! Just waiting for the Wifey to be home same time as me so we can ring them!

One thing I do not want is to have to mess about once I have upgraded with customer services so sorry to hear you have been having problems. I am going to be making sure they give me all details, email confirmation...anything I can to ensure they dont mess anything up on my account!

I was on a student deal - 240 mins, 1000 texts for £25 a month. Contract ended and wanted the N95. Phoned them up - guy said that can only offer me the N95 for £200 but advised to call canx.

Did research and could see that Vodafone would do me the N95 for £100, then 300mins/400texts for 6 months at £13.50 then 12 months for £27. Took this to orange cancellations, guy offered me £25 a month 300mins/400texts (unlimited Off peak/WE) and the N95, originally for £89.99 but I managed to get him down to £59.99 which was a one-off fee.

Very happy with that, took it as best I could find atm, very happy with the N95 - does so much!

I just got 350 texts and 225 x-network minutes for £10 per month for 9 months and £15 per month for the next 9 months.

I also got the Nokia 6300 foc which I requested.

When I rang customer services to see what contracts were on offer they couldn't better £25. I politely asked how I could disconnect and disconnections (which is really rententions) were very willing to offer me a better deal.

They also offered me a good deal at £20 per month which I think was 400 x-network minutes and 500 texts.

I've been with Orange for 9 years but was willing to leave if they couldn't improve their tariff.

    Hope that helps.
