This scam has been going on for years Google these telephone numbers and read the posts for all the info

Whats the bets when you finished a purchase on a website you got the offer of a free voucher show up on the completed check out screen.

When you click these and accept the offer the retailer passes over the same payment information you just submitted...

Its happening frequently...

Just received one of these today. Have definitely not signed up to anything. No information even on which card they are stealing from. Havent ticked any boxes and read all terms and conditions whenever I buy stuff.
Free Time must be a scam. All you have to do is read their terms and conditions on the letter I received.
I am so angry that these gits can steal my money and waste so much of my time with complete impunity. Even the police aren't interested..

Hi just checked my bank statement yesterday and found £99.99 missing from my account taken out from free time! Rang bank straight away to make enquiries! Was given a number to ring by the bank it turned out to be a company selling luxury holidays something I knew nothing about apart from the fact this cheeky company was helping themselves to my money!!! Rang the company and said I wanted to talk to someone in charge low and behold the manager was not in today but would ring me tomorrow!!emmm we'll see!! Was advised by bank to report to trading standards has anyone else done this? I'm so cross!!

UseFreephone number 08000 512121 this is the call centre in Devon which handlethere calls and run the scam. Although the other number will only cost upto 10pa min.
No one sells your card details on Spacebags and this company are hand in hand. The out going calls are made from this call centre as well.
It is not only Spacebags do not order anything by card from a company which has a Barnstaple po box number, as they also use adverts for other goods you see in Newspapers!

Sometimeson these sorts of "deals", you will find that you have to tick the box to opt out of the offer rather then ticking to opt in.

Have a Google for Break4Free [another name they use]

What they do is get you to buy something [as you already know]
Part of the admin during the sale is to get you to take a brochure from Break4Free on a free trial basis along with keeping hold of your card details, either verbally if you called to buy something or by not unchecking a box to decline the offer online.

If you don't cancel within 30 days, they take the money
They don't send you the brochure before the 30 days is up as they don't want to highlight what they've done to you until they have your money.

There's no need to contact the company - just demand the money back from your bank if you didn't authorise the debit. Your bank may try to fob you off and insist you chase the company, but if it's an unauthorised debit the bank has to refund.

What I want to know is why is nobody doing anything about this company e.g trading standards,action fraud and banks ect! Especially the way they are helping themselves to£99.99 out of people's bank accounts! What do others think?

Maybe not enough people are complaining to Trading Standards?
Hence my suggestion to do so if they had money out of you by sleight of hand.
