Morning all,
Sorry missed listing or reading yesterday as had a very busy day with the family. Hope your all well and hugs where needed X
Aww lambs with coats, I want a pic
Hugs for Hillstep sounds like a terrible weekend, hope things get better.
Molly I know how you feel, I'm on number 4 child who is 16 as well. I don't have the energy I had with the first:eek: to be honest he is generally very good but has his moments. Hope he settles down for you.
My youngest has just gone off to college with his latest ear infection. After years of struggling with it ( perforated ear drum at 8) he finally sees a specialist on 17th April. Looks like a little op to heal the hole in his eardrum that was supposed to heal itself and never did. It's embarrassing as it weeps and can be smelly and when your 16 and very cool it is a problem. He's gone off with a mini first aid kit of wipes and stuff. Thank goodness he will be sorted soon.
My middle one has started a new job today. :j thank The Lord lol . I hope it goes well, and he has a good day. I shall be on pins all day. He's 23 but still my baby.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday. Did roast pork ala Delia which was beautiful and roast veg with honey and mustard dressing. All tasted fab.
Pud was hot chocolate fudge cake with cream.mmm right I shall waddle upstairs for a shower and then update my Spreadsheet to show my debt very slowly reducing, but at least it's going down.
Have a good day all, keep warm J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning :hello:
lol HalightI don't think it's a wind up, I think it's someone who wants chickens, has no idea about chickens so is asking questions about chickens
Mr tru is at work and TFFT because I was ready to commit murder.
Waiting to go to work - I have a similar but opposite problem. The other trus leave for work between 7am - 9.45am. As I'm not tied to time and they are, it's only fair that they get to pick shower times ahead of me. But sometimes I want to go out early and it's impossible to get into the bathroom - them using the shower isn't too bad, but then they run backwards and forwards, "just need to clean my teeth/gel my hair/oh I left the moisturiser in there......." I give up and make coffeeFeel like I'm always waiting for someone else. Am going to attempt to get all housework done during their getting ready time, then I can do whatever I want for the rest of the day. Might even get my biz kick-started at this rate
Off now to damp-dust and hoover before miss tru goes to workBulletproof0 -
Morning all,
Our bed has been stripped and remade, sheets and towels are in the wm but will wait for some sun (predicted here today) before I switch it an along with the BM.
I always cook a roast on Sunday just for DH, it's a habit I can't get him out of. I'm not keen on roasts, y/day he had chicken with all trimmings, I make enough for 2 days so he's got it again tonight. I'm having chicken stir fry.
I need some yeast, milk and potatoes but it's so cold I don't want to venture out. Think I'll send DH.
I shouldn't winge as there are so many snowed in without power, I really feel for them, what on earth is going on with our climate ?
HILSTEP, Oh my goodness you and your family are really going through a sad time and I'm sorry to hear it. Keep strong hun and take care of yourself, MS seems to thrive on stress so be extra carefull.x
PEN PIN, Lovely to see you posting on here, please stay.

I have spent my whole life around Animal, Iv had assorts ones over the years, Some Iv Just had as pets but others Iv had a go at breeding too.
And what worry's me, are people like this, They have no idea, Yet they go out and get "something" And It is a item of Something to them not a real life Animal, they keep it for a bit, Find out its too much hard work and then Dump It.
The local free ads are full of people off loading there pets that they are now fed up with.
Latest fad is Skinny Pigs. £200 each local to me they cost. 18 Moths time I will be able to pick them and all the the gear to look after one up out of my local free ad paper for £50 or less,
Shocking, Really.:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -

Morning,
Lovely day here but still ferocious wind. Some of the snow has gone but I think its just blown somewhere else :rotfl: and its icy on the ground.I put the last of my bird food out earlier so will have to improvise later cos I'm not going out unless its to the corner shop and I dont think they'll have any.
Halight,I took DGD for a little walk the other day ,some one has a bit of land next to a footpath across the road and they keep chickens but I noticed a couple of weeks ago that they've fenced off an area and they have a pig living there-I'm not sure what kind it is,was thinking it could be one of the pot bellied ones but its black and kind of medium sized.I don't think DGD believed me when I said 'look at the pig',she's not seen one before, and after all Peppa pig is pink:rotfl:I feel sorry for it though as pigs are sociable animals and its in a pretty small pen.It 'talked ' to us but when we started walking off it began squealing like mad and I felt really mean.
Not sure yet what to do for tea, there is a bit of beef left but not enough if we're all in.Might be a hotch potch of different things.I know DS1s five a side has been cancelled, frozen gravel pitch, but DS2 wants to go to the gym as he hasn't got college tonight.I had 'complaints' about the apple pie yesterday,DH said its not up to your usual standard, the pastrys not as good. That's because it was a packet of pastry mix I had in the storecupboard dear:rotfl: and thought I'd use it up.
Hillstep, I certainly think there are times when things all seem to happen at once.Your poor dad must feel so frail, hugs to you both.
Right, better start clearing up from the weekend, stay safe and warm everybody.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
Morning All
Not snowing but it is still laying here. DH went into work early expecting to have to shovel the snow from the paths, car park and playground, but he said that it was all gone and that is literally in a village that is 3 minutes drive away
As a lot of you know I follow Piers Corbyn of Weatheraction and he has been saying for years that we are facing a mini ice age similar to the ones that we had in Victorian times with frost fairs on the rivers. This is another reason that I don't want to be reliant on Gas central heating.
Hilly, sorry to hear of your losses and troubles, it really does come all at once doesn't it
Dinner is Lamb cobbler, we have lots of lamb left from the leg we had yesterday, I will also freeze some slices in gravy for a quick mid week meal in the future and I will still have enough for a a lamb curry for tomorrowI must get another couple of them while they are still on offer.
Right I had better go and finish cleaning up

Morning all,
Oh Hillstep such awful news. So sorry for your loss. My daughters best friend is burying her brother at 12. He was only in his 30s.
Lambs in orange coats... brilliant idea.... not only does it keep them warm, you can see them in the snowy fields if one wanders off.
As for the chicken poster.... well we all have to start somewhere i suppose but oh dear.:(
Here the snow is melting fast. I need it to melt fast, the dogs have weed on the doormat. (They dont like the cold). I need to disinfect the side of the house as its become a frozen toilet. As much as i love my 'Girls' i still get the 'URGHHHH!' factor at times.
All is well with me, usual Monday jobs have been started and i need to pop down the Post Office at some point.
Pie and chips for tea i think. 'Youngest' will be pleased.
