Ionafan, fingers crossed all goes well with the house

MrsM I hope you Dad is ok, I'd wait for the next update

I've taken DS2 to work and done another food shop
    DH has made DS3's bed
We have both put all the stuff in the loft.

Despite all the sorting I still feel a bit depressed by how much stuff there is, especially in the loft. We seem to make progress but never really finish if that makes sense, just sort of keep it under control.

Having a cuppa and a look on ebay to see if any of the stuff is worth listing.

    postage going up/parcels a lot!

Beware if you are ebaying as it starts this week

Here is a link to the complicated new rules but basically only small parcels less than 8cm deep or a cube of 16cm can go at the lower rate, anything over and the rate is over £5 even if it weighs less than a kilo:eek::mad:

  • Morning flyladies, and Happy Easter Saturday, from a very sunny (but frosty) NW. Up early again with a noisy cat, but he's fed and tickled - the other is still fast asleep - birds fed and I've had a cuppa and made porridge.

Today I am going to do shopping for long-term sick friend, clean his flat, make us both a lunch, so he has company over this Easter, then get my shopping, maybe a nice treat for tea, get home, have a hot shower and settle down for the return of Dr Who!! Hurrah!!!

This place is not too bad, after that huge scrub through before we went away, just needs a dust and S and S, so I don't have too much flying to do, but once this bad weather ends we MUST sort the garden out. We have friends coming next weekend and their garden is immaculate. Ours isn't ........

Good wishes, good health and good flying vibes to everyone. Ionafan, congrats on selling your home so quickly, and as for those Hot Cross Buns - yum yum! You've inspired me so I'm going to get the ingredients today. Love R x

Dusty, I'm a bit like that. My OH is a hoarder, and although it is in order, in the loft, the amount of it terrifies me. If something happens to him - or - if we have/want to move - it would need a wagon of its own.

I think it stems from his very poor background, where he had barely nothing as a child, and often had to move, and lost some things - he's never forgotten, but, (add swear words of choice) WHY does he need to keep EVERY wage slip/bank statement he's ever received in his life???

Lots of 'get trains running on time' vibes to CY's rail provider. Have a lovely weekend, but wrap up warm! Just seen the weather forecast and it looks blinking freezing there! R x

    Morning all

Still cold here but quite sunny too. WM on so that I can get it on the line before we go to SiL.

DH needs to go out for an hour to run some errands now so I'll have a shower and S&S the bathroom/shower room.

Time for a cuppa first though.
