Back from SiL. Feeling a bit fed up as FiL has really gone down hill since Christmas. Think I may go to bed and finish my book, which is really depressing. Need to find ds2 birthday card first.

Valli - I know the others have given you the answer, but I always remember it as the 'change' over the 'original' x 100. HTH :)

Popped to town & got the kids a few bits - spent about £10 each (book & DVD for DS, DVD & 1D bracelet for DD2 and a bottle of wine & Skittles for DD1). DH has been sitting making up rhymes (with music!! :D) for our Easter egg hunt tomorrow. He is going to set it up while I collect DD1 from the station (I have to take the other 2 with & they are not happy!! :rotfl:)

My mum is coming for lunch tomorrow, and then we will visit my SD in the afternoon. She has told me she will be here early & may 'borrow' my bathroom for half an hour :) (she had her bath removed when they redesigned their bathroom to make it easier for SD - and he refuses to go in the shower now!)

Dog walked (in more snow showers), bed remade. I may go to bed now, as we need to be up in the morning & we are missing an hour! :) Night night all x

That's the fella - I did find time to sort it myself but thanks!
    And thank you all

Hoppy Easter, m'little bunnies :easter: :D

So I have woken to the aroma of slow-cooker gammon... Mmmm.

Am undecided on what this mornings tasks are (other than clocks...) but its either:
    Toy tidy
Get some paint and do conservatory woodwork
    Make DD memory board
    Build coldframe
    Ironing

I did have a sock cull last night, as I bought myself some new, so got rid of lots of uncomfortable ones.

I'll go make a cuppa and mull it over.

Oh, one more dilemma: how to brighten up my hallway... Mum suggested some stripes, I though about a base coat of a soft cream emulsion, and a wide stripe of a mid but muted green, and then above, a narrower one of an olive colour. Would this look carp?

It's just really bland at the moment...

Hi dont post very often now but just wishing you a Happy Easter.

Mum and Dad remain in poor health and need lots of support and as I live almost two hundred miles away it is very hard. Have great sister who helps them as much as possible.

I read the thread quite often, I love to read what you are all up to and follow my own list- most of the house gets cleaned on a weekly rota!

    Hugs to all of you

    Morning all

Very sunny here but still lying frost.

DS3 has been in the garden and found the hidden eggs. Others still asleep. DS2's birthday so will do his cards and bits in a minute then shower whilst WM1 in progress, 2and 3 ready to load.

Quick hoover and tidy round as family here for tea and cake later.

Ok I'm still in bed which is not getting anything done.

Can't get paint as duh it's Easter Sunday and shops are closed...

So will have a shower and go build my cold frame. And try to ignore the 6 Easter eggs in the fridge ;)
