Hi everyone,
Have missed a month but am back again this month with the usual budget of £200 for May please.
Already spent £40.12 in Aldee using the £5off voucher, plus £11.03 in Tesco on toiletries on offer as had a further moc. Freezer and cubpoards are bursting now so am hoping to only have to buy meat and f&v this month.
Am on the 5:2 diet and just made a tortilla pizza for tea which was lovely, will definitely be having that again! Off to browse the recipe index now to see what else I can try......
Good luck to everyone for this month0 -

Spent £39 at the weekend at Mr Ts. Should be sorted for the rest of the week hopefully! Although I was miffed that my curry paste had gone out of date when it was supposed to last a month  It was nice and green, and I panicked about what to do because everything was cooking!! Lucking I remembered about my sneaky value jar of sweet and sour. It actually tasted yummy! Especially with my homemade chapatis! :T(first time making them. Bought a HUGE bag of chapati flour in the aim of cheap and filling bread type food for meal time!)

Started the day badly by knocking a mug (empty!) from my bedside table straight onto my kindle thus killing half of the screen. Totally my fault for being dopey but made me forget milk and lunch for work so had to nip to Sainsburys for milk and then bought a meal deal to cheer me up - £4 I didn't really need to spend but hey ho worse things happen at sea!0

I will join you here if that is ok
my months run from the 24th to the 24th so I have already started
£200 for food and petrol please (hoping to save as much as we can this month)April/May Grocery challenge: £60/£200
Virgin credit card £14500 -
Can I please join again? Have declared for April, but my May month won't start until Wednesday.
For May my budget will be 325
This includes food, drinks, toiletries, household/cleaning, and some treats (usual the smaller treats like a take away, but not dining out and such) for 2.
Dinner tonight was sausages, potatoes and veg. Plus I prepared a broccoli quiche for tomorrow as I will be home late so I will only need to heat that up.
Have some catching up to do with reading, hope everybody is doing well.0 -
Hi all, after doing our budget and realising things have to change I have decided to join this challenge!
In our house there are 6 of us and 3 cats (kittens due too!!). My challenge will include all food - including packed lunches - pet food and alcohol. My aim is if I spend under £100 p/w on these we are allowed a treat at the weekend. I know, that might sound a bit contrary, but as our bill was £100 plus eating out every weekend.
So, I may need a little guidance to get this right! I would like our budget to be £100 a week please. Starting today and ending Friday 31st (Surely that should be a treat weekend?!)
Now, how do I write what we spend today on here? For example a running total?
ThanksMay GC - £100 per week
