I did a weekly shop today at ald! and was shocked at the till when he said £33! That includes 3bags of cat litter (1 for my neighbour as she can't get to the shop) and things like sweets (making stain glass window cookies tomorrow) really happy with that but it's only for DD and myself :)

Aldi is great :) we stopped buying meat there though, found it went off very quick. We get our day to day things from there, fruit veg etc. So cheap, always amazed at the till, hehe.

Am going to have another go at surviving on €170, went over this month so think that I may have to go back to €180...not if I can help it though as every other area in my budget seems to be going over what I want it to be!

I don't normally buy meat there as I'm very paranoid about meat (after a nice bout of food poisoning) but bought it there today and so far it seems nice. The super six are all vegs so stocked up and made a lush stew with some of them today. Will definitely be shopping there again :-D

I do a weekly shop and it's £50 or less (depends on if I need pet food/nappies).

I did one tonight which with delivery was just over £40. It included nappies (a month's worth), veg, milk, cheese, some cleaning products, meat (chicken, bacon, sausages and turkey breasts), fresh and dried fruit, bread and some cupboard things (beans, chocolate spread, herbs, biscuits etc). Some I'll have to replace throughout the week but most will last a while. I usually spend around £200 a month for 2 adults, a toddler, 2 cats and 3 dogs.

I have a lot in the freezer to use so trying to get through that (about 5-6kg of white fish being some of it!).

I'm still running my March budget, but picked up some items that I wouldn't have bought until next week had I not wanted to use a voucher than had a minimum spend requirement. So I'm counting these items (now packed away ready for holiday) as being from April's budget, meaning I've already spent £8.39 of my £203.50 budget.

A few small spends yesterday on some Super6 onions, pasnips and leeks that had sold out when I did my main shop. We have family coming over for dinner on Easter Sunday and we are right at the bottom of the sack of potatoes so I think I'll pick a sack up later when I go and pick DS up from his friend's house. Hoping that will be it for a while as the budget is disapearing fast:o

Made loads of different types of soup yesterday and froze most of it for lunches during the holidays. We have no cake at all so I am going to bake later. Nice way to spend the afternoon actually as it is freezing here and starting to snow.

    Have a good day
