Good luck Orange Ena, sometimes you have to follow your heart. Life is too short to stay in a job that makes you miserable, I've been there myself!0

Hi Ena, sounds like a great plan to me. As LCC says, life is way to short to stay in a job that makes you miserable. Now you have a robust plan in place, go for it!

Well done on all the decluttering! My own efforts have slowed down considerably and mostly involve moving stuff into the loft for a car boot sale "one day"...
Good luck with your plans — they sound good, especially the last one!Don't blame you for not wanting to do the supermarket Xmas job; I'm still scarred from working in a supermarket over a decade later...

I've still been decluttering on and off;
48. dressing gown
49. few old beauty products
50. bookcase
51. posters
52. curling tongs
53. basket
54. bath mat
55. shells
56. picture
57. 2 alarm clocks
58. bra
59. picture frame
60. photo stands
61. coat hangers
62. old tins
63. loofah and pumice stone
64. glasses holder
65. wash bag
I still have loads of things to sort and get rid of but I'm trying not to get overwhelmed with it. Just chip chip away! I've had 5 days off work and due to feeling a bit crap, I decided to just chill out and do very little. I had a few things to do Thursday and Friday but when I woke up on Saturday, I felt like I wanted to be a bit creative. Over the weekend I made 2 felt Christmas trees and a really pretty (lol modest) felt flower wreath. And I really enjoyed itIt's been a while since I made anything so it was well overdue even though I looked around my house this morning and saw a total mess and then felt guilty for not doing a thing, not a damn thing :rotfl: I spent the day cleaning and doing all the stuff I should have done over the weekend
I really must meal plan more, I just never seem to get organised with it but I know it's an area where I could improve. One thing I have been doing though in the last couple of weeks is having overnight oats and it's delicious! And I was never a porridge fan! It's so easy to make and take to work and really filling and although I haven't worked it out, I guess it's quite cheap per portion. Win win :j
I've been making a few plans for some days out.......I haven't been away for 2 years and I've not really done much in the way of socialising so I'm looking forward to getting out more. I'm having a shopping day with my friend at a discount outlet village and we may stay overI'm also planning a day out, possible night away with my brother and sister in law to the Emmerd@le Studio Tour. The tickets would be their Christmas pressie plus I get to go too! Love Emmerd@le so I really want to go. I'm debt busting as much as I can but I feel like I need a few things to look forward to before I leave my job then can't afford to do anything :rotfl::D
Talking of which, I need to contact plumbers this week to get quotes for updating my bathroom. The house needing finishing is stopping me putting it on the market, and I can't get the hall, stairs and landing decorated until the bathroom is done so I know what I need to do, it's just doing it. I didn't want to contact anyone last week incase they wanted to come on my days off when I knew I wanted to be lazing around in my pyjamas :rotfl:Debt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500

Overnight oats are great value and super filling too! I've never been a porridge fan but love overnight oats lol0

I'm glad you discovered overnight oats. Breakfast is so important to keeping on track throughout the day.
My days off this week were spent just resting, but sometimes we need to do that so don't feel bad.
Your decluttering is excellent.

Haha overnight oats are a revelation, i don't know how I survived without them :rotfl:. I added a little spoon of lemon curd in along with the raspberries in today's and it was lovely

I don't know whether it happened last month but I've only noticed today, after the payment has gone out, that my mortgage has gone into the 59's. Unfortunately it will go back to the 60's once interest gets added :rotfl: My daily interest rate is £4.18 so in my very simple, back of a fag packet maths, I think it will only go over by £45. I may wait a few days or until I've had a rotten day at work and make a cheeky little mortgage OP. That would definitely cheer me upDebt Apr 15 - £6895.44Apr 17 - £2500
