    Evening money savers :) One more day off work before I have to go back :( But my bedroom looks really good, totally worth waiting 13 years for it to be decorated :D

    Sunday 28th August
    * £1 in T3sco
    * £415 to the decorator, he's done a great job and he even went to fetch the ceiling paint, gloss and wallpaper paste that I forgot to get! I did have a cheaper quote but I'd rather pay the extra to have someone reliable, helpful and who's work is good :)
    * VO survey
    * 172SB earned
    * Watched a DVD, Sexy Beast, will be sold on when I've got a few more together

    Monday
    * NSD
    * Decluttered loads of stuff, sorted out all my clothes and bedding and put it away neatly :T

    Today
    * £20 for my bike to be serviced. I haven't ridden a bike for 20 years so I tried riding it home from the bike shop and it turns out you can forget how to ride a bike! :rotfl: Definitely need to buy a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, stabilisers.............
    * £20.16 in M0rrisons. I was going to stop for Eggs Benedict in the cafe but decided to buy the ingredients and make it myself for lunch
    * £4 in N3xt, spotted something while collecting my lamps :p
    * £10.69 in T3sco on bulbs for my new lamps as they were half the price than the ones N3xt sell
    * 1p roadkill found while wobbling along on the bike
    * Youg0v prize draw survey
    * i-S@y survey not credited so messaged them for the points!
    * P0pulusLive survey
    * Pinec0nesurvey
    * VO survey
    * PA survey
    * 75p sweep into my FD savings account
    * £1.16 sweep into my overpayments account

    Meal plan for the week
    Wednesday - herby chicken, potatoes, half red pepper
    Thursday - ham and mushroom omelette and salad
    Friday! - ham and pepper omelette and salad
    Saturday - panko and herb crusted salmon, potatoes, roasted pepper and courgette
    Sunday - quinoa, courgette and feta patties
    Monday - as Sunday
    Tuesday - sausage, egg and homemade chips

    I've been decluttering again, mostly will be thrown but maybe 2 or 3 things to try and sell:
    1. curtain rail
    2. curtains
    3. lampshade
    4. mirror
    5. king size bed sheet
    6. pyjamas
    7. cardigan
    8. jumper
    9. pants
    10. pyjama bottoms
    11. vest top
    12. black long sleeved tshirt
    13. black trousers
    14. pillow cases x 4
    15. skirt
    16. odd socks x 4
    17. single bed sheet
    18. old work top
    19. old work trousers x 3

    It's the last day of the month tomorrow so that means *drum roll* August totals! I don't think it will be anywhere near as much as previous months but it's all extra and is helping to get closer to debt freedom and getting my house sorted :T

    My new wardrobe (that was a cupboard) looks brilliant and so tidy, really chuffed with it. I bought a clothes folder gadget thing from Am@zon so all my tshirt and jumpers are folded neatly into piles and placed on my shelving unit. I hope it always looks that tidy but somehow I think I'll be a messy mare before the week's out :D

    I've tried to upload a photo of my beautiful new lamp so I hope this works! I love it so much! New lamps and clothes folding thing........I'm easily pleased :rotfl:

    I dropped some stuff off at the charity shop and I really meant to just drop it off and not buy but something caught my eye and that was that! I think I had some real bargains though and none of it is for me, it's all for Christmas presents which I have already saved some money towards over the last few months. Anyway, I got:
    1. collapsible storage box for 99p (still in packaging), £8.97 for a similar one on Am@zon
    2. Gremlins boxset for £2.49 (still in packaging), £6.61 on Am@zon
    3. Mug cake book for £1.29 (mint condition), £6.19 on Am@zon
    4. L0rraine Pasc@le book for 99p (mint condition), £16 on Am@zon

    So that's a dazzling £37.77 (if bought brand new) worth of goods for £5.76 :j:j:j And, I probably need to whisper this, but they're wrapped up and labelled already :rotfl:;)

    My decluttering is going well too, still feel like there's loads to do but definitely seeing a chink of light :)

    29. patchwork pillow case
    30. paper lanterns x 3
    31. greetings cards x 4
    32. drinks coasters x 4
    33. scrapbooking magazines x 18
    34. poker set
    35. jigsaw
    36. dictionary and thesaurus
    37. photo frames x 5
    38. beautiful expensive floor lamp......to the tip! I bought it about 3 years ago with a tax rebate I had and it was a gorgeous statement lamp and that statement was.......you've wasted £140 as I'll mock you with my poor design and wobbly legs :o The tripod legs were never great then the shade broke and despite trying to mend it, enough is enough. It did bring me joy initially but that soon wore off and turned into hatred so I kondo'd it out of my house. I took a few photos and I'm going to email the retailer saying how disappointed I was with it considering the cost, obviously not expecting anything back but I think I'll feel better! I should have complained within a few months really!

    I've someone coming to quote me tomorrow to fix some floorboards at 7.30........AM!!! So off I go to bed with a promise to catch up with diaries in the next couple of days.

    Nighty night :)
