How much time do you spend alone?

The only time I spend "on my own" are the 4 hours on a Friday evening when Marley is over at his bro's and littl'un is asleep in bed.
Oh, and 30 minutes each weekday morning & evening when commuting - alone, and yet surrounded by hundreds of similar people!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Sounds like you have got out the habit of having time to yourself. Are you normally running around, looking after the family with very little time to sit and relax and concentrate solely on you?
I do get the odd hour here and there which I enjoy. But been alone since 6pm last night and finding it a little too long.
I think the problem is that I think too much when I am alone, and when DD isn't around sometimes its unsettling and my mind goes to dark places i.e. imagining senarios where she comes to harm. When DD not there but I have company I'm distracted and OK.
I spend most evenings alone with DD asleep upstairs. I love this time - me time but knowing she is safe upstairs and also usually tired after a long dayI seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be0 -
I solved the loneliness issue by getting a high maintenance dog!
This is probably the reason I'm not rocking in the corner. Fatty Betty Boo the mad beagle is very good company.
I work from home 2 days a week and spend 6 hours alone but so busy I don't notice it. I had planned 2 days of dog walking and horse riding which has been scuppered by 2ft of snow

We don't have children so that means I get a lot more time to myself than if we did!
OH works alternate nights which I love as every other week I get to relax in a quiet house, watch what I want on TV and have the bed to myself!
In fact the 6 years we have been together there have been few times that we have been together daily after work. I enjoy, as does he, having time on our own.0 -
Assuming i see my bf, in a week i probably spend maybe 24-48 hours with him. (though that's not every week)
The rest is spent on my own.
I can go a week or more without seeing anyone.

I'm a single introvert so spend a lot of time on my own! I'm someone who really enjoys going out with people, but also really looks forward to getting back to my house at the end of the night. I get quite down if I am around people all the time and really don't think I could live with someone.0

I tend to need at least one evening a week in solitude or I get stressed, tired and v grumpy - not sure if it's due to being introverted, or to having spent a large chunk of childhood living with 4 rowdy children, but I just go with it. Time to myself is when DH is at work (like this evening), and is normally 1-2 evenings a week and 2 weekends out of 4 I get 24hrs to myself

Living in a mad house of six (ooops, now five, as the eldest has just moved out) I really love Wednesday afternoons and Fridays when I am usually home alone. I always have plans to do xyz but usually end up sitting reading and simply enjoying the solitude.0

I spend a couple of days a week from about 7am to 4.30pm by myself.
I'm home alone on Mondays and Tuesdays. My husband is at home with me on Wednesdays, we both work on Thursdays and Fridays and we are home together at the weekends.
I enjoy my days at home by myself. I've never yet been bored. I use the time for reading, researching my family tree, eBaying, doing jigsaws, cooking, in the better weather I do gardening.
Sometimes I might meet a friend for coffee, but generally I stay home and I love it.Early retired - 18th December 2014
