Magazine Comps

From my own personal view, I really like the new thread. I was worried when it first popped up and I thought the worst from the beginning. But from day 1 of actually using it, hands on, I loved it. Thanks for setting it up

Suggestion: At the bottom of post #1 is a list of magazines. Make these into links to the index for each magazine so "Chat" links to post #2 and "Woman" links to post #10 and so on.

To Consider: When a newly posted comp is added to the index it should always go on the bottom of the list irrespective of it's end date.

eg. A new comp E: 21/04 Win a fantastic prize is to be added to the index. Should it go

E: 13/04 Win 1 of 5 pairs of Fit Britches Skinny Shorts
E: 19/04 Win £200 worth of Muddy Paws Vouchers
E: 21/04 Win a fantastic prize
E: 22/04 Win a Refresh & Revive day for 2 people
E: 22/04 Win One of Five Rubik's Bundles from John Adams x 5
E: 26/04 Win 1 of 5 Paxo Stuffing Hampers

or would it be better:

E: 13/04 Win 1 of 5 pairs of Fit Britches Skinny Shorts
E: 19/04 Win £200 worth of Muddy Paws Vouchers
E: 22/04 Win a Refresh & Revive day for 2 people
E: 22/04 Win One of Five Rubik's Bundles from John Adams x 5

Thanks One-Eye, I have implemented your suggestion as that will work well :j

I prefer to keep the end dates in date order as is/will be easier to keep a check on and clear down expired comps :j

Hi,

there's a post on the Site Feedback area about certain comps - I think the ones being referred to are all mag comps. I've answered the post, but would someone who been dealing with the mag comps please check that I've given the right answer.

I know this is going to be a really stupid question but how can I find the magazine dailies now. Tried to search but cannot for the life of me find them. stupid I know but I put it down to my age and that's the excuse I am sticking to.

Not keen on the new thread. I don't understand why it was so complicated just to keep posting them on the main board. Making these threads just means I (and others who don't understand the board fully) skip more comps as they always get confusing and 'talk' happens in them.
And as I didn't realise this 'new' system has taken place of the old one I have missed entering some from the start. I obviously don't have a choice in how I comp for Daily ones any more.
Sorry for the rant, but that's the point of this thread.

Some of the new links on the other daily mags are not working either.
