Im afraid i dont like it either, i appriciate all the work that has gone into it, but im now having to look through everything to see if there is anything i want to enter, rather than seeing it on the main board and just missing it out, which is taking up a lot of time. (actually, ive stopped entering, i just dont have time to go through them all, maybe thats what people want, less people entering!
)
Also, with comps i now want to enter daily, i will have to look through all the entries (as more are added this is going to be more difficult) rather than saving the individual thread to my own daily file.
Also, if i want to go back and enter via this new way, i wont be able to thank the poster of the ones i want to go back to, because if i do, i wont know which ones i want to enter daily, or not.
I can see how it works with the puzzler ones, you only enter them once, but these because you can enter daily, personally i cant get it to work0 -
I am sorry I don't like it. I always send the magazine comps I want to enter, to my email address, then I store them in a folder called dailys + the name of the magazine. much easier to keep track
Please put it back to the way it was
Thanks for all your hard work though JenThanks to all who post compsITV winners membersclub#20 -
It works well for me. I visit the thread each day, thank each post in the thread, so that I know where I left off. Then I click through the links of any that I want to enter and save the magazine page to my favourites in a folder for say "Woman". I edit the name of the bookmark, so that it reads for example "26/04 Woman = Charlotte Bronte." This means that if I cannot recall the answer, I can easily see by looking what I named the bookmark.0

Those of you that don't like the new trial way, have you any ideas on how it could work differently/better perhaps?StayHome * StaySafe * BeKind0

I think the sudden change surprised some people because not many MSE-rs were aware there was a problem with the dailies.
The old way worked fine for me. But I'm now bypassing MSE altogether and going straight to the comp pages of the mags.0 -

I don't think there was a problem from the point of the people entering them. My understanding is that tinktinktinkerbell who posted loads of them found that it was a huge posting effort, decided to take a break from comping and there was not a big rush of people volunteering to take over the large amount of work involved in posting.0 -
