I'm a size 34a , I have found that M&S sports bras are the best for me. I found it really hard to find anywhere that stocked shockabsorbers in my siz for me to try them on and the styles that I could find were fly-back which I find really uncomfortable.

:rotfl: if you've got it flaunt it, but trying to find a cute bra to flaunt them in for 38G under a tenner is impossible:p

  • I need to buy a 44D sports bra (I am broad shouldered as well as a bit overweight!). I could only find one in this size for £22 in the high street shops, at the Co-op, and I don't feel I can afford this at the moment. I've been reading this thread and a shock absorber sounds ideal if I can get one quite cheaply. I've just looked on E-bay and have found one in my size for only £13 including p & p, but the seller will only returns if the item is faulty. Has anyone experience of buying bras through mail order? Did they fit?

The enell one is the one I was talking about...great support, although it does look terrible, but no one is going to see it though.:p

Gemma- you can buy shock absorber bras in most department stores- why not go and try on the 44D to see if it fits first, then get it mail order?-some brands are definitely more generous than others.

p.s. if any of the 'neater' are near a JJB there's an olympus sports bra for £6.99 here's the link
