Cant afford to live but cant afford for things to come crashing considering options

To do List

[STRIKE]Put back shelves that i took down too [/STRIKE]- done

[STRIKE]Look at moving "man & van" costs [/STRIKE]- done

Pay bills :-( and see what i have got left over.

Find references fees for new cheaper place - Still £250 to find

Do work expenses - not done!!

[STRIKE]Ebay - listing [/STRIKE]- done

[STRIKE]Go to the post office [/STRIKE]- done

[STRIKE]Do SOA on new place[/STRIKE] - done

Still looking at places to live...!!:j

I love being off work! much needed time to think.

Things are very sorted here - well as much as they can be.

Made a big decision to go for a new place - will give me a fresh start and more funds :-) :beer:

A friend will help me move so no man and van cost ( will keep in reserve just in case F lets me down (!)

Finally feeling happy and although the place i am going to isnt great it will do ..would rather not have the worry of how to pay all the bills.

Been meal planning too today...before going to shops ..did not by anything that was not on the list so pleased with self about that

will be near a friend so will help with "having a life":j

Ebay sales now totalling up so I might just be able to cover the ref fees and deposit.

Been food shopping today..so cupboards stocked up nicely.

Still need to pay bills :eek: do work expenses and do clothes washing .

Been up all night with worry

Seem to be in an emotional rollercoaster mode!!


Need to work out how long current debt will take to pay off with the interest...120 years i suspect .. i will puke if i actually did ever work this out!!

If I make token payments to one the bigger debts ...i could pay off one of the debts of £200 in full ? 1 less creditor to deal with..before DMP ?? possibly an insane thought?

Relatives said they will not help with POA for Mum!! one less christmas card to by and post then - saving £1 so not all bad.

Been really sick today ..pretty obviously stress..

Hiding stress I know that is not healthily

At a friends and warm for once thank goodness

One last day of freedom the back to work

Must wash hair , do expenses and plan work clothes for week.

Must try to eat tomorrow and stop being so hard on self.

Must make a decision to go for cheaper place to live & tackle the debts.

Read about people doing self managed DMP ? Wonder if this is worth doing with one creditor I have with two debts...? Even if they froze interest this would be significant progress.

Did the payback calculator today and started feeling sick that paying back the minimum will take 39 years to pay off...gulp

I need to stick to one payment for the life of each debt and they could all be gone in 5 years. Wow now that is positive.

Jeeeez my friend snores..! :eek:

Tomorrow needs to be a good day else the debts will cripple me.

Fingers crossed and a warm hug if you need it tonight.

Had some chicken today ...isnt it supposed to be good for the soul ...i think that book was about Chicken soup TBH? Not if you are the chicken or if you don't cook it properly

5. MUST DO WORK EXPENSES i reckon thsi is £375 this month :eek:
6. Check Train times
7. Anymore clothes washing anywhere.. will check

9. Quick Scan of work emails how depressing...
10. Lay out work clothes as am up early so can get dressed almost without looking.

Ok notice given on FLAT!!! New accommodation here I come LL agent is totally unreasonable (!!!) so will be pleased to get out of here.

Need to pack urgently too!!!

Need to find somewhere in 13 days now (!!!!)

Need to notify Council RE CTAX
Need to Change Landline
Notify Sewerage & Water Rates People.

Need new address for post and then find out telephone number for new property so i can change the phone !!

New flat ref fees found - Thanks to gold and Fleabay and help from a friend.
Fingers crossed this all goes well My LL / agent has just put everyones rent up by 12% !!!
My deposit and future ref's seems to be becoming a bargaining tool with LL - am having roun the clock veiwings (!)

Feel sorry for the poor sods who move in !!

Keep your chin up re PoA. I work in a home and know all too well the pressures on relatives who live away. Its not easy, but you have your mums best interests at heart.

I have read diaries on here with people doing their own dmp, hard going but do able.
