If you all want to hate me for having this worry then fine. But I am not a bad person for loving my parents and wanting them to be happy.:beer:0

Phil, do you have a life outside MSE? This is getting beyond a bloody joke now. Seriously.0

You teach them how to use your computer to join Freecycle. There they will be able to find a perfectly useable sofa to see them through the last few years of their lives.
Done that one, he doesn't like Mummy using one of his 3/4 pcs.
You roll your sleeves up and start to sand the floorboards and spend a few quid out of your own money to buy filler to block the gaps.
I don't think studentphil finds the thought of wearing dungarees very fetching.
You spend £1.99 on a bunch of flowers from the garage and give them to your mum, tell her you love her and then LEAVE!
Done that one two, the flowers ended up arriving dead
Meanwhile, you'll have applied for every other job in the local evening paper so you can get some work NOW!
Check the threads in Job Seeking, and thats just for interviews.
You go back a week later and tell your parents how lucky you are and how happy you are to be independent.
They will be blissfully happy.
You DO NOT NEED central heating! I don't have it and have survived the last 10 years in this house without it. I don't have a huge income, I support three children one of whom is about to start a doctorate as she's worked hard through uni to get this far (and worked too), I pay for my own study via the OU.
Well done you and your daughter :T
You are giving your parents nothing but worry.

No you're not.
But you are a bad person for incessantly posting all your woes on here and dragging down other people. And for letting people give you advice and support and throwing it back in their faces by ignoring every word.:A MSE's turbo-charged CurlyWurlyGirly:AThinks Naughty Things Too Much Clique Member No 3, 4 & 5

No-one hates you for having a 'worry' (even though we can all see through it). People are just sick of you posting. That's it really. I used to feel sorry for you, then I got annoyed by your patheticness, now I just wish the electric would go off in your area to stop your moaning.Nelly's other Mr. Hyde0 -
