O/S Daily Friday 22 March This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!
As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or slow internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred. When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well”

Good morning all,
Very windy and very cold here. I think we are due snow at the weekend. We had some Wednesday but it stick around for long. Like you halight, hoping this will be the last of it.
Wm is on. Everywhere is tidy. No packed lunches to do as dd has her study leave day and other dd has a viral infection and isn't at all well so i told her last night not to bother to set her alarm. Hubby hasn't got work until tonight.
Not sure what we are having for tea, will have to have a root around in the freezer.
I hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them.

Morning All,
We are not having snow thank goodness!:T We had our share two weeks ago:rotfl:
Rain today. Been awake since 5.45, slept well though. Having a cuppa now. Cat is on the dining room window sill watching the road for the dustmen!:rotfl:
Made a huge cottage pie yesterday as DD, SIL and DGD plus OH are over today. OH has finally phoned the builder about my kitchen:rotfl: Bless him, it's only been in a mess for 18 months. He really wants to do it himself, but he can't find the time. His business is so busy at the moment. I don't mind, at least I'll get a good professional job done!:rotfl::rotfl:
My Dad has somehow obtained his bank details:eek: and has been ordering stuff again:mad:
Have now got onto the home to refuse any parcels or else intercept them. Thought this had all stopped when he went into the home. I must get onto the bank and give them a ***** for telling him his bank details:rotfl:
Anyway, have a good day all!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Lots of snow here and forecast all day, supposed to be picking dd1 up today from uni , she will be gutted if we can't get to her , but I'm worried about travelling on the m1 when it's like this
The other issue do we let dd2 go to school as its across the city and a Blummin long way to walk home if they take the buses off
Hmmm not sure what to do0 -

Let DD2 Stay at Home, Why take the chance of a young Girl getting stuck across the city Just because the bus's can not run.
Not worth it for one day of school.
What ever is on the ground now is only going the get worse. Most of the county have more snow Due to came sown today, Who know's how bad it could it were you are/were I am ?
Might get away with it, Might not.:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
