People with 3 young kids - What car do you have???

Have you looked at extended rear facing carseats would be cheaper than a new car you could stagger the seats across the back seat see the incarsafetycentre website in Milton Keynes this is what we had to do, two forward facers & a britax hi-way in the middle, they are really good for advice.0

Until very recently we wanted a car with 3 full seats not because we have 3 children but because we frequently had 3 adults, plus 2 children. We ended up with 7 seater cars because of this. Have you tried looking from a different angle ie are there narrower car seats on the market.0

The only way we could get it to work with kids born in jul 05 jun 06 and then jul 07 was a people carrier
We went for a Zafira. We didn't LOVE the car but it was the only thing we could fit 3 proper car seats in
Now the kids are 7,6 and 5 and we only need booster seats we have changed to a vectra estateNo more unnecessary toiletries Feb 2014 INS: 24 UU: 13. Mar 2014. INS: lost count, naughty step for me! UU: 80 -

I have a Citroen Xsara Picasso. I liked it because of the three separate seats. 2 of my boys have booster seats and the 17 month old has a stage 2 carseat and they fit along fineThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0

.Land Cruiser, great car if you like averaging 20mpg!
You must be confused with the Amazon Land Cruiser, generally they are just 7 seaters.
Land Cruiser Amazon
The slightly smaller 120 series, is the 8 seater diesel D4-d 3.0 liter.
Land Cruiser 120
An easy 30 mpg.
I think Toyota state some thing like 37 mpg, but we all know thats just not possible.
Round town, 25 mpg, on a nice run, over 30 mpg.

We fit 3 in my mother Kia easily and my current carseats are monsters.. A friend fit 3 in a punto..
I fit 2 on big highback boosters and an infant seat in OH's old Focus!
We currently have a Hyundai i800 which easily fits 3 on each row of seats, it is definitely more bus than car though. If it was up to me I'd go with a 12 seater lol The grabde voyager fits 3 in too and is beautiful.. though the family across the road from us fit 3 in the voyager. My sister has 3 under 3 and has a Volvo s70(?) estate thingy. It's an older model but the back seat is flat all the way along so can take 3 car seats easily and she fits a triple buggy in the boot.
The seatbelts are stupidly short so fitting the carseats is an impossible task.. my mother had volvos for years and I never felt the seats were in safe.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I can fit 2 high backed car seats and a rear facing seat in our y reg volvo v40. Maybe the belts have been replaced or something?: DD1 23/11/09

Nope.. she's had loads and the belts have all been really short.. she couldn't use a seatbelt until she get the new car because they didn't go round her!
Maybe volvo stopped being so stingy on their belts and made them longer.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
