CSA arrears of £38k

I just don't get this, i'm not judging, but it makes no sense, you attend Uni full time, you have a mortgage, and your ex is a violent alcohol and drug abuser... Oh and you owe £38,000
Just out of interest, how do you pay your mortgage now...???
And how is it that somebody who is a violent drug and alcohol user that is clearly a low life in your eyes never claimed benefit at the start of your claim...??? As if she did the money would be owed to the DWP and not the Ex... So obviously worked...
Personally i don;t think we have the whole story, and at best we have a very very biased one sided story...
I know there are always 2 sides, and people have tried to give advice on here for you, but for me it makes no sense, and the dates make no sense etc... But it's your story and if you say it is the truth then i guess that it's the truth as you see it...
Which part specifically makes little sense Kevin? I will try to answer.......0 -
Agree with Kevin, too early to do Maths, but if all you had to pay was £55 a month and that was 15% of your salary, it makes a very low salary to get a mortgage. In 2006, you didn't get 100% mortgages.
I dont know how you are calculating those figures..... please tell me and i will tell you if there correct....
The figures i`ve quoted you are after all allowable deductions have been deducted as per CSA1.... that means housing costs, a personal allowance, deductions for overnight stays ect ect.
In 2006 they were giving away mortgages.... 125% were not uncommon, so i dont know what your talking about.0 -

Over the last 12 years, my son has spent approx 70-80 nights per year in my care. I`ve paid for school uniforms, school trips, footwear, clothes ect ect. I have receipts totalling £2.5k (i saved them all) for cash purchases for my son. I also have bank statements showing approx £3k transferring to the PWC`s bank account. I`m not sure whether any of this will be taking into consideration.
Just made an offer of £5k in full and final settlement.......
clothes/footwear are gifts thats normal parenting.0
