Are you actually a scouse? I'm in the NW. I 've found the MPs up here quite good.

Try for a complete account breakdown...:j I must be hated for saying that :rotfl: but it has to be via your MP. Take some stress off you and let your MP help you. Box of chocs/wine/biscuits works wonders for the assistants.

And talk to her...but no chocs etc she might think you want to get her into bed...only joking :A

complete account breakdown? is that not my DPA files? just ream after ream of £79.11 per week....... yawn yawn can see why i buried my head in the sand.....

Your best bet right about now, is to apply for your Data file, and make sure everything is in it...

This will give you copies of everything that they have supposedly sent you. And it will have dates etc...!!!

The reason i suggest this, is nothing to do with numbers, as at the moment the numbers will be correct as to the information YOU gave them... SO that will be an argument...!!!

The reasoning for coming up with this now as a possible argument you may have, is the legislation they have that they use that deems you received it if royal mail sent it on there behalf... This means if they sent it, you received it...

If as you say, you have not been receiving post due to 2 houses having identical addresses, then you must have some paperwork from the post office, and if this is the case, then it may be you have an argument for not receiving post and thus removing the arrears and or any legal action they took against you....

Just a thought...

yeah i see what you mean, i didnt think of that. The post issue started in about 2008 though, i probably had arrears of 25/30k at that point...... i did complain to the PO about it. On top of the identical house, the local postie was actually done for not delivering it, when they went to his house there was 6months worth......:D

The thing is, do you think you've paid what you should have? Kids aren't cheap, so don't try and get out of it. Pay for what you've produced.

For the dates you can PROVE issues with the post office then yes... So any court appearances etc as you MUST be notified and if the post was sent at this time then you wouldn't of received it, so would have grounds for appeal with the court out of time... As it would be some time before you understood and could do anything about it.

So the only way to find out what they sent is to ask them, and hope they resend everything, or apply for your data to prove what they sent and what you didn't receive...

It won't help with it all, but it will help with some, and while you may think it is all very boring and blah blah blah when it comes to the data, it is your own fault you are in this mess, and only you can sort it out.

So while it may be very dull and boring to do, being anal and thorough is what will get you out of the mess as well... Be it by paying the correct amount or finding there mistakes...

And do remember that regardless of how much you think the ex is a !!!!! or is horrible or a psycho or anything else for that matter, just think about this...

SHE CAN'T BE THAT BAD, OR YOU WOULD OF FOUGHT HARD FOR CUSTODY AND DONE SOMETHING ABOUT IT...!
