Hey luckily I wasn't one bit serious - I dread to think that someone more naive could have been taken in thinking they were going to a posh wedding with a tall, handsome, financially savvy stranger.


Meh. I've given up NAR. Genuinely can't be a*sed anymore. I'm focusing instead on the lovely relationship which is blossoming between me, my electric blanket and my LoveFilm subscription.

If I'm honest, if I was your sister I would be pretty annoyed if you took an escort to my wedding!

Weddings are very expensive and every guest counts so to know you've done this just so you don't turn up alone would annoy me.

As others have said just go alone and have fun with friends and family. Even if you take someone you will spend the whole day 'pretending' and lying to your family and friends.

I've attended a wedding alone and found people to be even nicer to me because of this.
