This is why I don't do early nights. I hate weekend mornings, find them very lonely, nothing to do. Especially now I'm back at home.

I love quiet mornings, resent sharing them really!

More often than not, my weekend mornings begin at 9. Not this morning though.

Still looking for some more apps to make my android phone more sueful. Got Where's My Droid and Whatsapp, and Hullomail and Adrive.

Any other good ones you're all using?;)

I use DejaOffice for contacts and tasks and calendar (but not email) because all my stuff is on Outlook on my laptop not in a cloud somewhere.

I free apps for torch, and also for Bible, and a wonderful one called Settings Profile Light which enables me to put the phone on silent for a meeting and know that it will put itself back off silent at the end of the meeting without my having to remember to switch it manually.

Edit: I'm sure I clicked on more posts to reply to than just that one, but it's lost them, and I haven't time to read back through several pages to remember which ones they were. :(
Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Just got back from a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. Amazing experience, ticked 2 boxes as I'd never been in a helicopter before.

This is sounding like quite an extravagant trip.

I have never been in a helicopter.

OH gets the odd work trip in one. He was helicoptered from the deck of Illustrious (on its last tour), that was after he had been delivered to the carrier, very fast along the Tyne, on a RIB driven by Marines.

Minimum stake on blackjack is 15$, we may go next door where it is less. Roulette here is 1$ chips but a minimum of 15$ each go!
Is it true that there's no clocks inside the casino or is that just a myth?;)

Never been on a helicopter. Plane, glider, hovercraft, jetfoil, ferry, rowboat.
Always wanted to fly in a balloon.
Nearly got a job on a submarine once. My lack of claustrophobia would have come in handy there I reckon.

I went to Vegas in '94 and it was certainly true then. Interesting place Vegas. If you don't gamble or drink, like me, then it's a really cheap place to holiday. The restaurants are really cheap (to draw in the gamblers) and there's plenty to do.
