I think it's very useful to have a separate loo if there's more than one person living in a place.
Petrol pumps that hang from a ceiling so you drive your car under them instead of next to them.
Toilet sinks built on top of the cistern. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
To fix this online it seems I need my UTR which apparently appears on letters from the tax office...and yet I have never found it once on any of the letters the revenue has ever sent me.
Have another look - it's on the letters they send, it's a long reference number....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I'm not sure which I would find more tricky - urinating with a random stranger in the bath not watching or bathing with a random stranger using the toilet. I have always assumed that in a relationship both could use the bathroom at the same time, a had a Japanese GF once who found this incredible (and no doubt incredibly disgusting)
.
I am with the Japanese GF on this one. Definitely not in favour of both using the bathroom at the same time if one of the parties is using the loo, and I cannot think of a time when I have ever done this.
Only company in the bathroom that have tolerated was my DD. Oh and the cat accompanies you too if you get up to use the loo at night.0 -
Chatty folks on here!
That is where I am, right now!
Just got back from a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. Amazing experience, ticked 2 boxes as I'd never been in a helicopter before.
i once hopped all the way through the casino floor in the venetian. made more money doing that than i did gambling (which wasn't difficult as i lost a horrible amount of money gambling).0 -

i am with you and the japanese GF here. surely there is just no need for this. i honestly think i would rather humiliate myself by soiling myself on the sofa* than having a communal bathroom experience.

OH is away. It appears that I cannot go to sleep when she isn't here...0

So I am going to witter on to no one in particular: we are going to do a second viewing on the house we saw last weekend. There is a horrid commercial building at the end of the road which put us off but it turns out, after OH did a load of digging amongst planning applications, that it is about to be knocked down and turned into houses which is a mild improvement. Also they have knocked the asking price down a bit which doesn't hurt. As long as Michaels' property development empire vehicle doesn't outbid us it might be a goer. Will have to see how we feel after 2nd viewing.0

I agree. Our en-suite has a partial wall ( ground to about 4 ft) and protuding about 4ft, that partitions the bath from the toilet, but I still don't see the need.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Sounds good. Though in 1988 we looked at a house on a new development where searches showed 2 gas cylinders were a out to be pulled down. They are still in situ 25 years later.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Minimum stake on blackjack is 15$, we may go next door where it is less. Roulette here is 1$ chips but a minimum of 15$ each go!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
