Beige is good for around here, because that's roughly the colour of the mud on the roads. ;) Believe me, if I could have found beige with one owner and low miles, I'd have had it in preference to blue....:(

I still drive like a tourist. The standard of road behaviour here is truly appalling, but everyone smiles and waves. They barge you into the hedge and wave with one hand while gripping the mobile with the other...and that's just the pensioners. I'm not kidding. During a half hour wait for a MoT last week, two of the three people I clocked driving and using mobiles were ladies considerably older than me. :)
Yep, Gets worse the further west you go I think. Its not as bad here as it was in Somerset. More boy racers here though, more towns though,

Nil chance of being stopped here for anything, almost. ;)

I was stopped once, when driving the big van at 1am. I thought, "They'll want to know what's in the back."

No, they wanted to know if I'd seen a golden Labrador on the Mole Valley road. :rotfl::rotfl:

Friday night, 1am and all they have to do is look for stray dogs!

So I am trying to get through a long list of online jobs that I didn't get round to whilst on holiday. I went in to govt gateway, logged in and requested an ID so I could get a pension statement. Then I tried to log back in to do a tax return. Except in the 30s of moving to a different govt site it appears I have forgotten my password. This seems unlikely so it appears that requesting the pension system log in seems to have broken my govt gateway log in...why does this not surprise me? To fix this online it seems I need my UTR which apparently appears on letters from the tax office...and yet I have never found it once on any of the letters the revenue has ever sent me.
    I think....

greek cream cheese? is that like standard philly? i am tempted to do this :D
I figured it'd be like philly full fat .... and that's gone into my recipe collection.

I was looking for cheesecakes that used philly but didn't use any other cream .... because I'd have to buy the other cream in specially and so it'd never happen.

I think it's worth a go .... ignore the "greek cream cheese" and just use full fat philly; page even says you can try other cream cheeses.

Worth a go .... it's also scalable down to just a couple.

Also check out this cheesecake: http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/philadelphia-fruit-smoothie-no-bake-cheesecake-106175.aspx

Not sure what cool whip is .... but that's findable by googling to substitute something British.

I'm sure I'd be great at it once I got started.

I did see the World's Busiest Hotel though. Wow! The Venetian in Las Vegas gets 50,000 visitors a day. The operations management behind the scenes was astonishing.

That is where I am, right now!

Just got back from a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. Amazing experience, ticked 2 boxes as I'd never been in a helicopter before.

That always annoys me - that they suggest it as if having separates is what nobody would want. Surely any family living in a house would need a separate loo.

The other one is when a room's got built in cupboards and they say "get rid of those, make more room" - and I think "Er ... but where's their stuff going to go? It'll take up the same amount of room if they have to faff about with wardrobes"

Take up more space, probably, because the cupboards fit the space and standard furniture probably wouldn't.

I think it's very useful to have a separate loo if there's more than one person living in a place.

To give Nice People an idea of how posh the bowlo is, there is a dress code: no beach wear, clean flip flops only.
