Picked this up via a police force twitter feed:
    https://twitter.com/ultramacky/status/363644323545358336/photo/1

No idea if it's legit, just tried to read the real twitter but it's locked down.

Is it the same as story as this:http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-23087008?

Edit: looking again, I don't think it is the same story. But I think she can expect at least the same amount of trouble. And deserves it.

Our upstairs loo seat won't stay up. It flops down. Its the only thing I'm going to miss about that bathroom.

DH is actually amazing. He is also really affronted when he finds I have cleaned the loo, he holds that cleaning the loo is a mans' job, because of splatter and lids etc.

The answer is that both the seat AND the lid should be put down after each use. The lid is there for a reason.... two in fact: [1] to prevent air-borne matter going air-borne [2] to stop you dropping things down the loo.

    It also looks nicer.

    I agree.

I can always tell when someone (flatmate, flatmates mum aka leaseholder, random workmen) have used 'my' bathroom - as the toilet seat and/or lid are up (and the bathroom door is open, but that is less eek ;)

Oh for the day that it is my toilet. So my rules :D

Logically, if you are the only one there, why would you need to close the bathroom door?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

DH and I don't close the door, we keep talking....

Similarly, at uni, we had one bathroom, you got used to some one peeing while you were in the bath. We all formed very close friendships.:rotfl:

    I won't when I am the sole occupant of a place :)

But here I am not alone (well, at this precise moment I am, but you know what I mean). Its just a habit here (and it comes in handy for knowing when someone has been in the bathroom whilst I am out).

The plan is probably to get a lodger in at some point in the future anyway...

What a great day yesterday. It was the last day of the kids' football season so we went out for lunch with the parents from my daughter's team to the local club

    http://huntershillclub1-px.rtrk.com.au/

Clubs like that are usually the cheapest place to get a reasonable meal and a couple of beers/glasses of wine in an area. What was going to be an hour of watching the kids run around and having lunch turned into 4 hours of getting to the bottom of some very nice bottles of wine whilst the kids played 'Bullrush' (Aussie version of British Bulldog) in the field next to the club. It was absolutely lovely. I was asleep on the sofa by 9pm hence me posting on here at 6.30am on a Sunday!

I got to the end of Results Chapter 1 yesterday (very rough, needs a few more references etc, but I finally got to the end of it), so I rewarded myself with a stop off at Sainsbury's on the way home to pick up curry bits and pieces, which I washed down with a beer and a night off watching rubbish on the tv for a 'treat'.

    Now onto Chapter 2...

Well done Nikkster. Now get on with it!
