If you want Pastures, PM me the name and dob of someone you want info on and I will have a look on library ancestry for you. I can easily get on ancestry and findmypast during a break. That'll give you an idea of the sort of thing you can find on the library versions, you can then decide whether you want to go in and use yourself. If you still can't, I'm happy to work my way through your list, but don't now how quickly I'll be able to deliver.

It was just a mild passing and inconsequential interest.... kind of, if I saw something I'd peek - and move on. Not a proper interest worthy of your time.

    Thanks though!

grrr... just done insurance quotes.... cheapest was Saga. :(

I was at the other end of the scale, as even though I've had a full driving licence for, ahem, over 10 years, I'd never owned a car or had my own insurance policy (always been a named driver on parent's car).

My parents are on an 'Age Concern' gas/ elec tariff :rotfl: I say you just have to embrace it, and make the most of any benefits it brings.

I can be added to the list of people with a cold. My nose has been like a running tap for since Wednesday. I'm getting very bored of it now, but I guess it's better than having a cough.

I was on that Age Concern tariff for Gas until last week when the cap expired. The £10 'cold weather' discount was what made all the difference....
I've not got a cold, you get those by mixing among common people .... and I've not been outside for about 10 days.
Very sensible, I wish we could do the same - instead I have been out sharing my cold with as many other people as possible on the grounds that if they insist on keeping me so busy at work that I can't even contemplate a day of leave or off sick then they need to accept the consequences.
    I think....

Haven't found that there are many great benefits of things like SAGA.
Pleased to know that as we age,
    a) cancers are slower
and b) transplants "take" better than when younger.

And very pleased with this info on when we reach our cognitive peak. ;)

    NDG & Lydia

Nice babies. Very cuddly and adorable.

Tomorrow we have our freind and his adult sons with us again before he goes back to middle east. One son will bring with him his 3.5 month old daughter. So I am preparing all food today to free me up for admiring/walking/snuggling the baby tomorrow.
