I do some investigative analysis work and I can't believe someone going for a high paid job in that field wouldn't look up the organisation's website. Then you'd imagine that they'd look for information on that field in general, plus checking you out on LinkedIn, seeing if any of you had appeared in the press/journals etc. Pfft... This is depressing.

Yes, I'd hope they could (and would think to) do a bit of pre-application/ interview investigative analysis!

Is Purch about? DH has suggested taking me to see the Bucs (American football) play a local derby game for my wedding anniversary present. Without wishing to sound ungrateful, it's not the greatest present he's ever proposed...

    Perhaps he's pulling a McTavish*.

Or it could be that you're doomed to watch a couple of dozen 'mercins run around in tight 'pants' patting each others bottoms and chasing a dead pig. :D

*Staging elaborate ruses to make Mrs McT think I've either completely forgotten or that we're doing something she'd hate for special occasions, and then whisking her off to Paris, or Rome, or a remote beach by helicopter, etc, as a complete surprise.

Of course, sometimes I really do forget or make her do something she hates, just to keep things unpredictable. ;)

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'd love a remote beach by helicopter! But I'd hate it to be a surprise.

DH likes surprises and I'm trying to think of something small and cheerful for him for Friday. Just for no reason.

Something not with a helicopter budget. Something sort of.....free would be good.

Sadly I think the second option applies Hamish.

He's going to need to go some to beat 5th anniversary: off to NY on Concord and into a mini-suite at the Plaza with its own turret room. Overlooked Central Park from one angle, Queensbro Bridge from another and 5th Ave from another.

Spoilt too early... It's not a biggie this year either.

I was about to say you couldn't both have gone courier but I guess he went on an ID90 anyway. However waiting around in the Concorde lounge for the courier stuff to clear can't have been that romantic...
