One wonders how many people don't take the radioactive thing seriously, walk out of the hospital and just get on with their lives, living in their small house, with one loo, using buses .... not giving a tinker's stuff about anything.0

I just worry.
I wouldn't worry - a full cycle of spermatogenesis (big word for Sunday) is relatively quick.
Another thought entered into my mind, but it is too rude for even me to write on the thread!
I would say that if you are really concerned about it, abstain for a week (on the basis that only approx 15% radiation should be left then) - or until after your check up when you should have a better idea of how much is left.
But if I were you I wouldn't worry about it, I'd just get on with normal life0 -
I am dying! Well, maybe that's an exaggeration. I tripped over on the pavement at lunchtime, and I have a *BIG* graze on my knee and another *BIG* graze on my elbow.
So far, I have taken:
2 paracetamol
A glass of Pimms
Put some Savlon on
DW has kindly agreed to get me some large dressings, because as she puts it: "Otherwise you'll get blood and Savlon all over the bedding." She agreed to go and get it because "Otherwise you'll get blood and Savlon all over the car."No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Well IMHO the hospital nurses didn't take it seriously enough, so I wouldn't be surprised if the general population are also lax.
Then, as others have said, we do jump on a plane without worrying about the radiation.

Ouch, poor you. Falling shakes one up a bit too.
At least you didn't land on your face. I have knocked my front tooth put a few times now:D. DH says I shouldn't laugh when I'm falling because then my mouth might protect my teeth :rotfl:0 -
