Such a busy week! I still haven't caught up and had time to update you all on the retreat.
On Sunday, DW and I are taking part in a sponsored walk for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The money raised goes towards the local hospice. If you would be able to do a bit of the sponsoring part of that - I'll take care of the walking - please visit my JustGiving page. http://www.justgiving.com/GeoffreyB
Thanks, folks! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I think YOU are luck to have both a brother and sisters as they are lucky to have you. I can think of others I think are lucky to be only children :rotfl:
I only have a sister, but I have a good mix of male and female friends.
About 70% of the office is female (and over 50% of management), but if you look at the company as a whole, we are around 60% male.
Sorry I've not been around this week; BT and Orange are currently arguing over my internet, as BT have done some work, and 'forgotten' to plug the cable back in. Standard basic practice I know, but there!
It will apparently be fixed on Tuesday

Sorry if I've offended the NPs. I guess that, if we all posted every time we did a sponsored walk/run/whatever, the post count would go up like crazy. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I think you misunderstand. I was also concerned about the personally identifiable information and thought it was safer to request the post be removed until you returned and confirmed that you had intended to let your name be linked.
I have no problem with people putting up links to their virtuous charity acts and I will be donating.I think....0 -

Not offended in the least.

Well, thanks all. I am not used to the JustGiving website, and it hadn't occurred to me that they would include my personal details on the page. After all, they asked for a title for the page, so why would they add my personal details as well..... Anyway, hopefully it's sanitised now.
And thanks for any donations. :j:jNo reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
I had a great night last night, magically getting parking about 100 metres from where we were meeting and so even tottered up the road in my ' pretty' shoes. Sadly sitting with feet down all evening meant I change into flats to go back to the car later. It was a short evening but fun, we were all tired, dh and our friends having been at work. But I managed to go out. I feel as if I 'm hungover this morning...obviously I didn't drink anything so think I just pushed a little hard. After feeding and releasing animals with dh I came back to bed but I'm trying to wake up now.0
